OK soft cheeses are a no no, IE brie...
Fish only twice a week...
Avoid mayonnaise that has uncooked eggs in them (shop bought is fine)
Pate' is a no no...

Eat plenty of fruit and vegetables, and enjoy your pregnancy...

Good luck and best wishes

CONGRATS. You'll be fine. Relax, enjoy this time because as you go through the stages, your body changes, you get the nursery ready... go get the book what to expect when expecting.. it will walk you through it all. Get a data planner, so you can plan your weeks. I recommend eatting well balanced meals, stay away from a lot of sugars, it can cause gestational diabetes. Caffeine. Sodas aren't a good idea. Has secondary causes the further along you are. Lots of fruits and veggies. Bread was my weakness. So, whatever your weakness is, enjoy but don't endulge like you would if you weren't pregnant. Walk, walking is really good for you and the baby, especially when you get to the last trimester. It helps with the delivery, your muscles etc. Swimming is good. One lil hint: your body is going to change it's going to get bigger...if you eat healthy and stay within the weight limits chances are you'll be very close to what you are now after you deliver. Stay healthy so the baby has 100% chance to be healthy. Do not be hard on yourself. Pamper yourself, take time for you and your boyfriend without baby talk. And enjoy this beautiful time in your life. Congrats to the both of you. I pray health, beauty and double mounds of love on your family.

Congratulations!
'They' advise you don't handle cat/dog poop so b/f in charge of picking up the dogs doodoo now!
Also stay away form deli foods such as pre-made pastas and salads. Seafood such as prawns, oysters and mussles. Fish is ok if stored and prepared correctly. Also stay away from soft cheeses such as blue cheese, camembert, brie etc... and pate's also. These are all because they can carry germs and diseases that can affect a growing feotus. If you do eat a prawn though, i don't think the baby will just die or anything.
No more than 1-2 glasses of alcohol once a week (my doc always told me if I had a drink once a week and was under the limit to drive a car then it was ok whilst being pregnant and same goes for breastfeeding)
Naturally, don't smoke or try to cut down whilst waiting to speak to doc.
Otherwise, drink heaps of water and eat healthy food. If you have morning sickness try eating a couple of dry crackers BEFORE you get out of bed and ginger ale helps too.

Remember though, if it was good enough for you to eat before, then why wouldn't you eat it now?

Congratulations again and good luck!

FIRST!!! Don't tell your Boyfriend!! He might jet on you!! Just keep it to your self till you see your doc. LOL. just kidding. Congradulations!! From my experience with kids, and my wives being pregnant, just keep being YOU, and keep doing what you always do. Excessive amounts of pot or alcohol will make delivery more difficult, but rarely affects the baby. The baby will take all the nutrients from your body that it needs, so eat good, and drink lots of fluids, so you don't dry up and look like you are 80 years old when you deliver. Heavy drugs, like cocaine, and speed will affect your babie's health, but caffein, tobacco, even pot won't affect it at all, if you just do a little. It's even been proven that a glass or two of wine is good for stress when a lady is pregnant. Good luck, I hope to hear how you are doing during the pregnancy. I'm ronscott1951 at yahoo dot com.

Congratulations to you both! Well....... I would advise you stay away from pate's..just be careful what you eat. Some of the things you should avoid are raw or undercooked meats, fish with mercury such as shark, swordfish, king mackeral and canned tuna should only be eaten in moderation. All smoked seafood, raw seafood, raw eggs, soft cheeses, unpasteurised milk, caffiene in the first trimester although a little should be o.k. , and DEFINATELY alcohol and smoking. Have a good pregnancy and just eat sensibly. Good luck!

congrats all the best and enjoy your pregnancy....
well obviously NO smoking, NO medicine, NO alcohol
eat loads of fruits and veg , meat every things you feel like which is healthy and eat for one NOT for two, baby will have more than enough with what you eat for one..
whatever makes you feel a bit sick avoid it...
rest , sleep a lot whenever possible because after you won't be able to sleep much...
And if you are not sure to have had all vaccinations in order when you were a child, avoid cats and others smalls kids, and eating raw meat(no raw meat allowed). veg and salad must be well washed.
have a great day and pregnancy....

congratulations! just stay away from soft cheese, eggs and if you warm up previously cooked food ensure it is completely heated through, do not reheat chicken or rice just to be on the safe side. Big hugs and best wishes x x

Congratulations. Just stay healthy. Haven't heard about the milkshake. But if you're worried about it, don't drink it until you've consulted your doctor.
