My doctor prescribed them to me yesterday but out of curosity I checked the Internet and found no evidence where the expectatnt mothers are deriving any suggested benefits from it. I know they are good source of Omega 3 fatty acids and Vitamin E and DHA. But even FDA does not recommend any recommended daily diet of them. Some researchers also say they should not be taken during pregnancy! I am very confsued by all these researches and will ask my Gynaec soon but by that time i want to find out if anyone of you has any experience in this field.

Are there any moms out there that support extended breastfeeding and attachment parenting? Sometimes I get the feeling I'm with the minority on this issue. Some support would be great. My daughter is 16.............just kidding, she's 16 months old. She eats everything and all meals. I pretty much still let her nurse whenever still. I do this until about 18 months old when my kids start mommy and me classes. Nothing negative please, I'm a little discouraged by the lack of support on my last question which by the way was about temper tantrums, not breastfeeding. For some reason people were focusing on that.

I want to get parents opinions of a 14 and 15 year old going to an amusement park for six hours or so with cell phones. I would drop them up and pick them up at a certain time. Also, I had planned on them calling me every so often. Of course, would there be a problem I would definately pick them up early or come in to address it. I think it's important to give kids freedom but don't want to give TOO much. What do you think? Please, honest opinions only!

I just found out today i'm 5 weeks pregnant.

I have 4 cats and 2 - 9 week old kittens, not sure if we're keeping both or finding a new home (in the family) for one of the kittens.

ANYWAYS .. all of my cats are INSIDE ONLY!

Should i have my fiance clean the litter box from now on or am i safe since my cats are inside only?

Thank you.

My daddy is sending me to a STRICT boarding school, against my will. I am DISGUSTED as my expectation was that he would be sending me somewhere posh and much more prestigious. Rather this school appears to be designed to BREAK MY SPIRIT. Further there are no boys, and we must wear uniforms, take ROTC and have roommates. The school also warned me I better not give them any trouble OR ELSE. My daddy said if he gets a call that I am SCREWING AROUND and has to come out there (it's like 600 miles), that I can count on getting "ONE HECK OF AN $SS BEATING." My daddy said I had my chance and BLEW IT, and this will teach me NOT TO BE SO SPOILED. I don't think so!

I have to work the rest of this week and then I only get a few days of freedom. I also need to break up with my boyfriend, which should not be too hard as he only loved me for pleasure

I will miss my friends so much and the once spoiled carefree life I leave behind. How can I get the most out of my final 10 days???

I'm 23 with a college degree, & my baby nephew threw up on me & I cleaned it off & changed my shirt, & my former foster sister said, "How are you ever gonna have kids? You shouldn't eve have kids at all!"

I suffer Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder & they know that. So just because I have OCD & have to clean everything, does that make me not fit to have kids or is she being judgmental?

Before I start I want only serious answers and please NO bashing / judging or debates please. I am still breastfeeding my 10.5 month old son. Neither of us are ready to wean / be weaned from breastfeeding. I am leaving (with my husband) to go on a 10 hour drive and will be gone for 4 days / 3 nights and our son is staying here. I have tried pumping to create enough milk supply for when I am gone. I don't know how much I should have here for him. I also can not get anymore supply as I'm only getting one ounce from pumping (for 45 minutes), but my son is getting enough to eat when he nurses. My other question is: Will I still have my milk supply when I return from our vaca without nursing him for that long? Thanks for your advice / answers in advance.

Do all hospitals have a certain age that you can start volunteering at them? I'm 13, and I really want to be a doctor when I'm older, but wanted to start doing some hospital work and get some experience. I don't want to know about any specific hospital, just any that you might know about. Thanks for any help!

Thanks to a gym daycare for 3 hours a week, our 2 year old has picked up the nasty habit of nose picking.

At first it was just inappropriate, but now he's picking it to the point where his nose bleeds make it inappropriate and unhealthy.

Any ideas? We've called his doctor, and she's basically told us nothing helpful--"well, you shouldn't have to worry unless it bleeds uncontrollably for a few hours..."

We're TTC & the first time we tried was about a week and 3 or 4 days ago & we've tried about every other day since then. I've been reading some peoples Q&As about implantation & noticed that twinges of pain was one of the signs of implantation. I recall having some pains in my stomach about an inch above my belly button & on the very far right side of my stomach. I'm pretty sure it's been almost 1 month & a week since my last period & my periods are never regular so I can't really tell when the next will be, but it still hasn't come. I haven't experienced any implantation bleeding though. Does it always occur or just in some cases?

I'm a new mom to triplets. My husband and I are PROUD parents. These babies are our first ones and we are nervious about everything. My first word was not mom or dad. The first word mom told me was up. David's first word was at. We are just curious about the first word you ever said. (No Swear Words).
