Ok, I heard that a mother actually named her daughter Placenta. Can anyone top that?

I knew a guy once who had a little curly-haired boy named Cornelius. He wouldn't let anyone call him "corny."
Then there was a little girl named "Empress." And one "Desderata."
I think "oprah" is pretty bad, but she has made lemonade from it.
I think Placenta is about the bottom. The poor child!
People who do stuff like that haave a mean streak or they are just so ignorant. Either way, they make lamentable choices.
Two of my favorite Weird names are Lyric and Wren.

Well, there was a couple in New Zealand who wanted to name their baby "4real". Also there was a woman who name her baby Female (fee-ma-lee). Story is that the nurse asked the mother what the baby's name was;the mother said "The hospital already named her. It's on her id bracelet".

There is that perennial joke about twins named Ima and Ura Hogg, but I truly don't believe any parents could be that cruel. I do recall a chap my father knew named Harry Dix, and someone posted here recently about knowing a chap named Harry Peters. Those are the most bizarre that I know, personally.
Oh, I do recall a woman naming her baby Pajama, with the emphasis on the first syllable, PAJama.

One of my friends has a niece named Euphoria. Gag.
As far as the celebrity babies go, I really don't like Pirate, Zeppelin, Pilot, Moses, Romeo, Suri, Apple, Alabama or Princess Tiiamii. Honestly, these kids will have to suffer with these names for years.

My nephews' names are Tiberius and Rocket and my neice's name is Sasse (pronounced Sassy). They're great kids but their parents are a bit eccentric, to say the least.
Would you ever vote for a presidential candidate with the name "Rocket"?
Placenta is pretty bad. Poor kid!

most modern names like shameka, Ishanta, or when a person takes a normal name, like michael, and adds "Da" to it to make DaMichael. I can top your example though. There was a guy in a near by town whos wife had a baby. the nurse in neonatal asked him what they wanted to name it. He looked at the wrist band and figured his wife already named the baby Female (pronounced femaly), and thats what they named the baby. true story.

There is a dentist in our area named Dick Skinner. Not sure that tops Placenta though.

I think the worst name I've ever heard for a boy was a mom calling her son Dickie.
For a girl I think the worst name was Sanchez ... sounds like it should be her last name.

Well Ricky Bobby from Talladega Nights named his sons, Walker and Texas Ranger. I also know someone who named their son Friedensreich after some famous 1940s German guy!
OH! I also know somebody who named their kid Conway East, a 'variation' of Kanye West. Hahah!

My old high school teacher named his son Anarchy Xerxes. Doesn't get much worse than that. Also, a friend named her daughter Bunny. There's a stripper just waiting to happen =)
