I'm 18 years old and recently graduated high school. I am currently 26 weeks pregnant and in need of a job! I have very little money from my last job that I lost in June but need it to pay car insurance and car payment for this month after that I'll be broke! My parents are moving and I am not. So once the house sells I'll be out of a place to live. Does anyone know of any place that helps Pregnant woman get jobs in Houston, Texas?

Ok, so this guy pays child support on 2 other kids and was just recently court ordered, there is now a child support order for a third child...but from a different woman (2 with one and 1 with another, he is now paying on the 2) How will this effect the child support payments to the 3rd child?

I am nearly 24 weeks now with my first baby, so have no idea what to expect with labour..me and my boyfriend have not had full intercourse since I found out I was pregnant..I totally don't want to and neither does he (we have fun in other ways haha!) Anyway my question is whether this lack of sex for like 8 months will make me less 'elasticated' and more likely to tear? Or should I try and 'stretch it out' a bit first!!? Also, I have heard of 'perinium (sp?) massage closer to delivery, any experiences of this helping things..I know its gonna hurt like hell, I just want to do I can now to help things!Serious answers only pls

A guy told me that if you pull your penis out 15-30 sec before he cums then that will prevent a women from getting pregnant.
Personal I don't believe thats true but I would like to see what other people think.

My hubby and I have been trying to start our family now for 2 yrs. I just turned 30 this year, but hubby is younger. I've been to the doctor and things just aren't happening. Any advice on speeding things up and stop the waiting game?
1. I take my basil temp every morning.
2. I take ovulation pee tests about a week after my period stops.
3. Dr has me on metformin to regulate my insides.
4. I take prenatal vitamins.
Please help as everyone around me that is pregnant is really starting to mess with my head. They just happen to get pregnant right away or just start trying and they get pregnant. I don't understand why it's so hard for us when it's something we both feel is the next step as a family. Thanks for any help or advice you can give.

Up until recently, my daughter has been content with dressing modestly and in colors that are not overly flamboyant. She is a delight, high grades in school, very responsible, and just recently she told my wife that she is still a virgin. I am very proud of her.

Recently, she has wanted to branch out and try clothing that is more provocative than her usual garb. Here is an example of the clothes that she would like to wear:

At what age should I give my approval of these clothes? Her 24th birthday is fast approaching, so I'm considering giving my blessing.

Also, it should be noted that her mother and I are not particularly religious, however we do share a great love for the 1970's American television show, Little House on the Prairie and our vision for our little girl is to dress like little Laura.

Do you think that she is mature enough to wear these "fancy" clothes?

i hope that it is not my period i really want to get pregnant. i did the bd on my fertile days and after i ovulated. i just got off bcp last month (i only took them for 8 months). so is there a chance that i could be pregnant? i will take the test tomorrow if i dont get my period today. but i was just curious to know if anybody else experienced this and they did turn out pregnant. thank you

I am 34 weeks with GD and I am wondering if anyone knows the answer. I've tried to look it up but I can't find statistics. I have read however that some doctor's don't like to let thier patients go past 38 weeks if they have GD. Does anyone have similar experience?

Im 18 going to be 19 and I've been in a steady relationship for two years. I will graduate next year from college and my family really cares for my boyfriend. We have sex all the time sometimes with protection sometimes without. Im about a week late, but my period does this at times. Lately I've noticed a steady weight gain, hot flashes, exhaustion and I'm really moody. Plus I cant get enough chicken nuggets or hot cheetos...which I harldy ever crave because I hate McDonalds and I don't really lovev spicy foods. I'm lookin for advice from mothers...Did you experience this when you were pregnant? Do you think I could be pregnant, or do you think it's a case of PMS?

honestly..Why it is so great to have sex at the ages of 9-16. I know what it feels like. I've Got to daughters! But I would like to know ..why do you think its something you need to do? Is it for peer pressure?? For self esteem?? What?? I can remember when I was 5 or 6 years old and AIDS was first being talked about. It was all over the news and then you had the singers who would sing about having protected sex, "Salt-n-pepper" I think is what they are called?? And for me just a few years ago, sleeping around was considered cool,but to me it just seemed too stupid. There are just too many risk involved. Between all of the STDs and getting pregnant. Why would you want to run that risk and ruin your childhood?? Why?? I was SO scared to death of that happening to me. So I waited...not until I was married. But until I knew I could handle the responsibilites. Can you explain it better to me?? Seriously and Honestly. Not just crappy answers?? (And I'm only 26!!)

This afternoon I was going to pick my wife up, on the way I passed our local Brook advisory. Outside there were four girls aged between 12 and 15 swapping condoms for single cigarettes. For the life of me I can't understand why people are wasting their time advising youngsters about safe sex if all they're going to do is swap the condoms they are given with the advice for a ***!

And the doctor said everything looked good. And we were just waiting on the results of the blood test. Well today, she called me to tell me I need to have a Histosalpingogram done.. This is my 2nd pregnancy, and I am only 4 1/2 weeks pregnant. When I get up after lying down, especially first thing in the morning, I feel a pain in my lower abdomen. It can be on either side, and it's a sharp pain. It's only after getting up. I don't remember if this happened with my first pregnancy. My husband thinks I did compain of this with my last pregnancy. Have any of you experienced this?

BTW, our 2 sons *are* circumcised, but I've since changed my mind and reget doing it to them. My younger son, 3 years old, actually has stenosis and needs that and some adhesions on his penis repaired after having been circumcised.

My son cries and cries and when I go to soothe him it doesn't work and I feel horrible, but once he's in his dad's arms he stops. It makes me feel so bad. I feel like my son doesn't want me near him. The only time he's quiet with me is when he's feeding. Do you think he's over dosed on mom since he was in there the full 9 months? What is it?

I'm raising my 11 year old little sister, she'll be 12 on July 29th. The other day she was playing at a friends house and that friends parents asked her if she'd like to go with them on vacation to London in August and of course she wants to go. That upset me pretty good since they didnt ask me first before they asked her. Now that makes me the bad guy if I say no she cant go. I called the girls parents and they have laid everything out for me (like the details of the trip and stuff). I havent given her or them an answer yet. I told them I'd have to think about it. I'm not sure it's a good idea. She's only gonna be 12 years old and that really far away from home. My grandparents think I should let her go but I'm not so sure. I think she's too young to be that far away from home for 10 days. I'm kind of on the fence on this one and I really am having a hard time making up my mind. What would you do? What do you think?

Ok, I'm 3 days late with no sign of my period. I have taken two negative test and today my lower back and hips have started hurting. Not like cramps, more like I threw out my back. Last night my husband noticed that my stomach was more firm than it usually is (usually really squishy). It's still like that almost 24 hours later. It's not gas. Could these be pregnancy symtoms and the test are just wrong? We are ttc so it would be great if I were pregnant.

i've looked on ebay, but sometimes the bidding can get rediculously high. my son is going into the first grade and his christmas gift to his classmates this year is going to be a book. reading has become so low on our priorities. in my town they are taking the open days for the library down from 6 to 5. i am trying to help get reading back into the home and not just in school. books like "the magic tree house" series, "junie b jones - first grader", "hank the cowdog", "horrible harry", etc. i'm hoping to find a big bunch in one lot.
