I'm 4 month pregnant and was due to get married to my fiance who is 28 (I'm 36) in August this changed to October now he wants December-when i'm about to give birth! We don't live together but plan to when we marry. He works and studies hard-studying to be an accountant and works as a carer which involves 1-3 sleepovers a week. up to now I have had to go to first scan and antenatals alone, which i didn't want to do, but he was 'busy'. I have an antenatal appt next week where he was needed to give blood *** I have an antibody which puts baby at high risk. His blood type could mean that the baby is protected but he can't make it...expects me to rearrange it. Even though this baby was planned I feel like a single parent. I'm the one planning, getting baby stuff together, buying it too etc and he only seems interested in himself, his studies, how it affects him and his dreams, even when i feel ill with sickness etc I get no sympathy I get told to get on with it, Am I stupid to stay?

So I am 6 wks pregnant, and am thinking a lot about when the baby is born. I want to breatfeed, but my breasts are sensitive and I'm wondering a few things. Does it really hurt? Is it better to pump? If you pump for one day could you pump enough for a week? Thank you so much if you answer my questions!!

My 8 year old daughter suffers from a genetic condition that has resulted in abnormally bowed legs. However, our family has a limited medical budget and we won't consider 'elective' or 'experimental' surgeries to correct such a condition, especially when the surgery to correct her leg issue is clearly defined as cosmetic by those in the health insurance industries. Our family does not have health insurance because the rest of us - besides our daughter - are healthy, but we like to abide by HMO guidelines when it comes to our health care and treatment so we can be on par with everyone else. Her condition does not hinder her daily functioning. One less surgery is more money in our savings account - and one step closer until I can buy my Corvette. I'm sure this condition will help her develop a more rosy personality and her future husband will value her more for her mind than her looks. Are we being socially responsible parents?

no judgements will be made, this is just for curiosity sake

Just out of interest, whether you were on the birth control or not, did you want to be pregnant so bad that you plotted your pregnancy without your partner knowing and then acted completely shocked when you told your partner??

My daughter-in-law has dropped my grandsons off here now and given me a *list* of "holiday clothes" that I am supposed to buy for them (and the cash of course but that is not the point).
The boys *have* plenty of clothes (I have my own for them here too that she doesn't like but they do - on the whole).
Anyway I normally love clothes shopping with the boys (I always buy their school uniforms in Sept. and *I* pay for them although I had some problems this year over her buying teflon shorts for them afterwards -

Anyway the point is that they do not *need* new clothes - they have plenty and she will only complain about what I choose anyway.
They don't go away until after next week so *she* could take them shopping for clothes on the weekend anyway.
The boys are all excited about going shopping for their clothes but I can't be bothered.
What should I do?

our child has been bullied at school by the children and the teacher and the prinicipal don,t give a darm and because we are seeking the interest of our child which is normal for any parents when their child is a minor our child was taken away from us by force against her will, the social worker said that we are dangerous to the child because we are hindering the child development.
what is your opinion?
