She proceeds to lay on her stomach and rub herself against just about anything that would stimulate her. I know it's common for children to explore themselves but i don't remember being so "intuned" with my body until much later.

My 7 year old has been spending a lot of time with her teenage cousin. She keeps asking me to dye her hair black and buy a miniskirt.She wants to have sleepovers and wear make up and cup bras. She even asked for a thong! She now is always looking in the mirror and obsessing over herself and also stereo typing people. I want her not to get caught up in drama this early... What do I do?... HELP she's scaring me!

My 7 year old step-son tried to get out of a lesson yesterday with a letter that read as follows:

"Dear Mrs Horton, I am Johnny's stepmum, honest I am. Please let him out of school early as he has to feed the goats on our farm today as I have a sprained arm. Love from Johnny's stepmum (signed name)."

The teacher rang up laughing her head off at this. How can I keep straight face to tell him off for being naughty? (His father is away at the moment, so I can't pass it onto him, LOL.)

I just had my baby girl a week ago, we found out she had high levels of Bilirubin. We were told to feed more often and more to help get them out of her system. Now she is doing better, but we were told we are over feeding her. They said to just take the bottle away after 2oz (she has been eating almost 4oz). But its so hard to watch her yell because she is still hungry. Anyone have any ideas?

I have a four week old and also a 4 yr old step son. My son was born at 34 weeks and had to stay in the hospital for a short amount of time. When we took my step son to visit his new brother the first thing he did when my husband held the baby was poke his brother in the eye. Then the rest of the weekend he insisted we tote him everywhere and constantly threw fits which is not like him. Were your children jealous of the new addition? How did you go about making them excited vs feeling as though they must fight for attention? This weekend will be the first weekend I have them both alone and want to make everything go as smoothly as possible. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks so much!

Ok so i had sexual intercores with y boyfriend and we use the pull out method because we dont like condoms and will about a month ago he thought he did but he wasnt sure an we didnt think i was pregnant because i had a period like the day after but i was only lasted like 4 days and i usualy have for like 7 day and it was also really lite and the same thing happend this month my period only last 3 days and it was also really really lite agasin i dont if i should be worried or not and i i not sure if i should take a test or not either so can some one please help me?!?!?!

We are thinking about having another baby, sooner rather than later. Our son is 2 in Oct so we think its a good time to have another. I am concerned about coping with pregnancy, a toddler and work!

I also can't imagine feeling as much love for another child as I do for my son.

I really want to have another one but I worrying about how I will cope with a new born and a toddler! I know the baby years are such a small part.

I have a little daughter she is 3 years and 3 months old. she dosn't speak yet.She says some words but no sentences.I went with her to a specialist and she told me that the probleme is that her brain works faster than her mouthe.Is that posible? I went with her even to a Phsycology and she sais that my daughter will eventually speak.I think she is very smart she understands everything i say ,she eats alone ,sleeps alone,goes to the toilete alone but she dosn't speak .She is using about35-40 words to express herself.The other day i heard her counting to 5 and when she saw i was watching her she stoped and placed her hands on her mouthe.Is it posible that she can already speak but she dosen" want to for some reason i can't understand ?

My 5 year old niece seems to understand him well but I can barely make out his words. He can't really annunciate most sounds. He can hear well and listens and knows what you are saying. It's so hard to make out what he wants or is trying to say. He does go to daycare so you would think he picks up new words and the teachers talk to him. I managed a small childcare facility and remember that most 2 year olds can even say simple words, and by 3 you should be able to have a simple conversation. Any suggestions or anyone know of other children with this similar problem and what happens?

I've noticed that running water from a faucet seems to calm crying babies. I've never figured out why, although I heard that some proponents of the swaddling method recommend that parents make a "shushing" sort of sound when they swaddle and rock the baby.

If I'm pregnant, it would have been a result of unprotected sex last week; since then I have been experiencing constant lower-back pain (as if right before my period-I'm three weeks away from my next period.) I recently found out that I am having another girl! I have 2 already Ariana Lisette (9) and Victoria Renee (8)
My name is Alana Mia (Mia means mine in spanish)
I am looking for a different name to use as a middle or possible first name. I like the name Araceli but am not sure that it will fit her yet. I am mexican and he is mexican, black, & white. Please nothing to common like Maria (although that is my mom's middle name) lol


I just heard from my cousin that this little girl came into school one day and one of the lunch mothers commented on how pretty she was and asked her name.
Her name was Diablanca...which when I first heard it I thought OK that's different but when I heard y she was named that I thought it was such a cute idea. She is mixed and he explained that Diabla (devil in spanish) mixed with Blanca (white) made her his little white devil!

If anyone has any ideas like that (mixed spanish words) let me know

I personally don't believe in getting an abortion, but I did take a morning after pill once and my sister thinks I was wrong for doing that she considers both the same. Was I wrong for taking the pill should I have just let it happen? I already have to kids a 2 yr old and a 9 month.
