My doctor was on vacation so I wasnt able to get an appointment with him but I had an appointment with the nurse yesterday who confirmed the pregnancy with a test. She said to call today and make an appointment, So I did and he cant get me in until August 15th, I will be 10 weeks pregnant. Should I try to look for a new doctor because I havent even gotten vitamins yet and i know how important they are, any advice would be appreciated. thanks

So, I know that when you ovulate your temperature jumps up and stays up until you get your period or stays up if you are pregnant.

I just started temping 2 days ago and only have 2 temps so far, but I was under the assumption that at cycle day 19 your temps would at least be a little higher than 95.99 and 96.03.

Shouldn't I have ovulated and had a higher temp already? Why would my temp still be down on cycle day 19? Is it normal?

The names I like are like Sophia, Cecelia, Tabitha, Madelyn, Evelyn, Katherine, Adeline, and Isabelle. So I'm looking for other similar names that end with -a, -lyn, -ine and -belle. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or do any of my names stand out as really good?

I would like to save some money, like any parent. I live in the USA. I want to use pampers at night to prevent leaks, and I was gonna use cloth during the day but my mom just about had a stroke when i told her (we live with her) so what is the best (and worst) generic brands of diposable diapers and wipes to use? I was going to use member's mark (sam's club) wipes. they seem to be very popular. any others? what about diapers? my son also has a big tummy and needs some stretch. and training pants? what shall I use? ~CONFUSED~

When I was in high school I was extremely popular and destined for great things. Although I was very successful academically, I was just like most teens, young and stupid and got myself pregnant 2 months before I got accepted into college. I was devasted because all my dreams were going to go down the drain because of this baby so I gave her up and never looked back. Now 22 years later I’m happily married with two beautiful daughters , 7 and 11, who mean the world to me and the wealth and social status I was destined for. Recently the daughter I gave up lost her adoptive mother to cancer and contacted me. We had lunch and I told her I did what I had to do to guarantee my future and that I didn’t want to hear from her again. She asked to meet her sisters just once without telling them who she was but I’m worried she’ll try to use them stay in my life. Why doesn’t she understand that the whole point of giving her up was to have this very life and that I don’t want her in it?

I am 13 weeks pregnant and when we went for our first scan last week the doctor asked if we would like tests done for Downs syndrome.( Just procedure) Ever since then I have had dreams about my baby having it. I would never reject my child if he/she has it and believe that God would give me what He thinks I am capable of handling. Everyone wants a healthy baby..and its normal to feel worried..but this is really causing me sleepless nights...I love my baby irrespective I know. I also know there is nothing I can do if he/she is born with it.. Has anyone else had any of these fears?

things at parents who work?
Some woman on here wrote that because parents work-latchkey kids are blowing up nurseries and schools? Cmon!
I have never even heard that one? Does she realize how stupid that sounds?
It's not the first I seen-not the last...Some of us have no choice to but to work-single parents like myself-married-both working..some cannot afford not too. Some people don't plan these things-things come up-people lose jobs,things happen. Why such the insults? Is the two hours that I am not with my daughter after school really affect her that much where she becomes a bad person? Give me a break!!

all my cycles before I knew exactly when I ovulated because I had so much pain it hurt to sit or do anything...but the last 2 months I have not had any pain at all, but my temps are saying I'm ovulating...has anyone else experienced this and why is this happening.

i cant sleep in the same room with the baby i cant sleep she keeps me up so my wife thinks we have problems now but i dont feel like we do she says im not doing part part as a dad but i work all the time wtf how do i change this situation or keep them both happy without sacrifising anything?

I am 37 weeks pregnant and I think my water is leaking, The last few days I have had a thick white mucus discharge, but today it looks like water its clear but doesn't smell like pee, and I dont feel anything coming out at all my panties are just wet She is still moving around in there but i am having some contractions and a little bit of lower back pain. I have a doctors appointment at 1:30 and when I called they told me to wait until then, what do you think?

I'm an adoptee and after quite a bit of searching, I found my birth mother and her family. My maternal biological family is a pretty decent group of people, and I now see them around the holidays and keep in touch occasionally.

My biological mother, however, has been in jail for the past 11 years for a crime that I consider almost unforgivable. I've been in touch with her, we've written back and forth, and she would like to have some level of relationship with me when she is paroled. She claims she can't remember my biological father's name, and has had no contact with him since before I was born. I'm not concerned with finding him anyway.

While I am happy to finally know where I come from...(at least on the mother's side), and I've been pleased to find great maternal grandparents...part of me regrets finding my biological mother.

I'd like to hear from other Adoptees who found their birth parents. Was it a positive experience? Negative? Do you regret it?

We just marreid last year.He have 17 year old son from his first marreige and he did't want him to no i got pregnant. Because it is too painfull for his son to find out that I'm pregnant.. Which is i'm not happy about it. Sort of thinking what about me. by the way it was unplanned pregnancy......Mutaully I can't get over it still thinking in my head why why............. Hi. Me and my boyfriend are expecting. If we have a boy, we like the first name Dillion. Now we need a middle name to go along with it. I thought Dillion Thomas was a good name. Thomas being my fathers name. But my boyfriend didnt seem to go for that. His nephew already has my boyfriends name as his middle name so we cant use that. My boyfriend thought we could use his middle name Eli for our sons middle name too. I dont think father and son should have the same middle name unless they are a junior, right?
