Don't like Alfie at all! But jack and charlie are cute.
I am thinking about the names Max and Oscar for a boy, but maybe also
Riley,
Adam,
Aaron,
Lucas,
Marcus ....??
Rogers is pretty easy to put a name to so good luck deciding!

Kayne, Cayden, Cameron,Kyle, Dillon, Jeffery but Jack Rogers and Charlie Rogers sound great a middle name is where you can get creative but first names should be normal. Think about him becoming a senator or a president strong old names are more respected.

Well I like Jack, Alfie and Charlie too but agree with you that they are a bit common. Why don't you give him one of those as a middle name and a more unusual first name to even it out a bit?
What about:
Angus
Archie
Christian
Caleb
Dylan
Eric
Henry
Isaac
Luke
Liam
Leo
Logan
Max
Milo
Nathan
Nathaniel
Theo
Timothy
Zachary/ Zach
I hope that helps!

Not Alfie, or Charlie. They're ok, but very old fashioned. How about Robbie, Cody, Zack, Colin, Jack is really nice, Jacob or 'Jake', Anthony, (I LOVE Anthony!), Timothy, John, Joseph, Daniel, Thomas, William

Alfred Charles Rogers.
Alfie Rogers...i love it. A child named Alfie Rogers would have character and a great sense of humour and be a happy chappy. The more i say it the more i like it.

Alfie, really? I've never heard that, but it sounds like it's from the 50's.
I love Jackson, however, that is becoming just as popular.
Zane is adorable
I'm at a loss... sorry
try babynames.com. Or pick an origin (ie. Celtic, French, American) and try searching google for names of your chosen origin

Maybe not as a first name (2nd or 3rd) but have you thought of giving him a name with links to his own ancestors?
My second name is Alicia, my Mother was Alice, her mother was Eliza Lavinia, her mother, Eliza, her mother Elizabeth.
When I was a child it made me feel kind of special knowing that I was carrying a family name which went back so many generations. My grandson's second name is Alex.
My father had William and that goes back in every generation to Crediton in Devon in the 1700's.
So long as you don't call your baby Roy or Buck!
You will prbably find that your local library has a copy of "Names for Baby" and the meanings of all the names listed
