I'm concerned that my daughter at 7 yrs thinks she has fat legs when in actual fact she has slim shapely legs. also we are going on holiday and she wants false tan before we go and she always tans very quickly.I've tried telling her she's beautiful and so on but its getting worse. pleased help!

I have a neighbor who is pretty nosy and opinionated. She's been a problem in the past and I've let most of it go. She's in her late 30s and has 2 teenage boys.

I went out the door only to find her and several other neighbors drinking in the yard. Before I could get back inside i was roped into conversation with her. At some point it came up that I was still nursing my 15mth old.

She stated point blank that she was way to old to be nursing. I told her that as long as Chloe'Beth still wanted to nurse and I was still able to and wanted to then I would continue to nurse her. Her reply left me speechless and a pretty angry. She said "Your a new mom you aren't smart enough to know anything about that."

I couldn't even find the words for a rebuttle. I just excused myself and went back inside. I'm furious how could someone say something like that. She's always trying to parent me but this was just too much.

What are your opinions on breastfeeding? How should I handle this neighbor?

and they do a preg test...i no they will ask about last period.. i never keep track and they are not always regular.
how do they test, and will they be able to tell me how far along i am with a blood test? anyone no how they operate?

My five-year-old starts kindergarten next month. In the registration materials, there is a code of conduct.

Any child under the age of six years old who commits murder, attempted murder, aggrevated assault, sexual assault including molestation, or any other felony charge will not immediately be removed from the classroom. This is actually according to State law.

I know reasonably, there is next to no chance that would happen, but seeing it written out like that just freaked me out.

I've decided not to let him grow up and go to elementary school.

BTW: I wouldn't really keep him from it, but oh my gosh I'm freaking out.

my friends period is about a week lake, although this is common for her. but lately she gained a little weight, like 10 lbs., her tummy is a little chunky, her tummy has been hurting her off and on for about 2 weeks, her boobs have become a little swollen, and she's been throwing up off and on for about a week. she thinks she is sick but i keep telling her she is pregnant. she says she feels sick though when she throws up, she's not just throwing up and thats it, she says she feels like she has the flu. what are the symptoms of pregnancy and do these fit that description?
also, at what point in time of her being late with her period is beyond her usual lateness and a true sign that she must be pregnant? thanks, i'm concerned for her, and what should she do?

My baby is 1 week and 1 day old .. and with the pregnancy I gained a total of 62 lbs (I was on bed rest due to a car accident and high blood pressure .. so I gained a little more than I should have)
but since the delivery I've lost 27 lbs. (I'm watching my calorie in take and only eating fruits and vegetables) I haven't started walking yet because my uterus is still very crampy when I walk for a long period of time .. but I plan on walking for exercise very soon!
I'm breastfeeding .. which is probably one reason I'm losing the weight so fast .. my question is -
will I continue losing the weight this fast?? or does it just all of a sudden slow down??
it's my first baby ..

We used to hang out with people a lot more, but now that we have a baby it seems like nobody ever calls anymore. Does this happen to other people? I'm starting to feel sort of self-conscious about it because I'm used to having more contact with people. People seem to like our baby and he's usually not annoying (unless he's tired). But since he came along, nobody seems interested in hanging out anymore. Has anyone else experienced this when you had a new baby?

I had this one that on the front page it would have a skinny oval and it would show how far you were along .If you were 20 weeks it would be filled half way I stopped going online for about a year. She was thinking about cars for me to buy her( I personally dont see anything wrong for buying a car for her). She really wants a Beamer or a Mustang. I told her that I didnt want her to get cars that were too expensive or cars too new. I want her to experience driving with a used or cheap under 16,000. I do have to pay for insurance as well. Im thinking of a Volkswagon or Toyota. She wont budge, and I personally believe she is acting like a spoiled brat who isnt grateful for what she gets.
She's lucky to get a car(THAT I BOUGHT)at all. She's been watching too much Fresh Prince or Bel-Air...

I snapped at her for being ungrateful and she started to yell at me....what the heck! Why is yelling at me?! I am BUYING the car!

I think Im doing the right thing by not letting her choose the car yet....am I? I dont want her to be mad at me, but sometimes, her insensitivity pushes me to the boiling point.

So... my son didnt eat as much as he ueually does and fell asleep really early...he needed to eat at least 6 more oz's to get back on track so i made him a bottle and stuck it in his mouth...and he ate...while sleeping...poor little guy.
Anyone else do this, or should i just let it go and hope he eats more the next day???

had my daughter on march 14th of this year and did not begin to have sex until about mid may. I have not yet gotten my peroid since having her( probably because i'm breastfeeding) and we have used condoms everytime, but I have a strange feeling that I could be pregnant again. I felt a weird feeling in my stomach today and im peeing a lot more than normal. I may just be paranoid..

this morining my 6 yr old son came up and hit me. i told him to stop i was washing dishes, a few min later i seen him out the corner of my eye running towards me, so i swung my arm around was gonna stop him but he was closer then i though he was and i hit his head with my hand..(i think i hit him pretty hard not sure) but he fell face first on the floor and hit his nose and forehead. his nose started bleeding a lil bit not much.. but after he cried about 5 min he was fine.. and he has been fine all day i haven't noticed him acting any differant. this happened like 10 hours ago, he said awhile go his head was hurting .. but sometimes when he gets sleepy he says his head hurts.. he is still acting fine. and he looks fine.. maybe its just that i feel so bad about what happened... i dont believe in hitting kids so when i do and not mean to like earlier i feel horrible..do you think he is ok? or should i worry? he has no bruise or anything..if he had a problem wouldnt there be signs by now?

if so, how can this be done? is it going to affect her physically, as in pain? how much does it cost? do you have to go to a hospital? How far along can the pregnancy be before its too late to get an abortion? at what time during the pregnancy does it become a serious operation as opposed to taking a pill or something?
