Do they have to tell you if they strip your membranes?
I went to the doctors today and she checked me but when she did it was alot more painful than usual and she was pressing harder, do they have to tell you they are doing it, what does it feel like, how long does it take to strip membranes?

I am due on Christmas Day. And want to know your opinion on something. My husband and I live 750 miles away from our family and were thinking of traveling back sometime so they can throw us a shower and all that. We were shooting for Sept. but my Husband's work schedule looks like it won't allow that. He was thinking of going over Thanksgiving, but giving my due date, would you travel 10 1/2 hrs? I plan on asking my doctor, but I wanted your opinions too! Thanks.

She just started Montessori School last week. She will be four years old in September. Just wondering if I should consider continue a Montessori education for kindergarten and beyond. Anyone have any experiences good or bad with these schools. Thanks for any advise.

I'm leaning 90% towards that jab but I am also scared she might get a bad reaction and die or whatever and it would be my fault.
We live close to Orlando where a lot of tourists are running around. And you never know who could have something when you're taking your little one to the malls there..
How common are measles?

I would like to have another child but Im scared I might have twins again My husband is totally against it he doesnt want anymore but I want to try for 1 more I am 30 yrs old and Im not getting any younger spoke to the Dr and she says if I want more I should try soon because of my age I dont know what to do....Its my husband Im worried about we are financially stable but he just doesnt want anymore...

When do you normally give a babyshower? What if it is a foster parent with a very good chance of adopting? My friend wants a shower but doesnt want to wait for the adoption to be final because it takes so long. Is there a customary timeline for this? I don't know the first thing about giving a babyshower - any suggestions?

I am now 3 weeks late for my period, but i take (Zovia) birth control pills everyday. I called my doctor and she said that it is normal for some women not to get there period while on the pill she said that it is called a dry month. But i have had my period on time for the last 2 1/2 years without a dry month except for now. Is it even possible to be pregnant?

I'm 6.5 mos pregnant attempting to get medicaid. LONG story short, I've had a horrible time getting approved even though I know I qualify. My local HHS office has been extremely rude and my case was denied due to their slacking. I've provided all the info they need. When I try to call the state and regional office, they tell me I need to speak to the local office. I've been trying to contact the local office for the past two weeks, and they don't answer the phone. When they did answer, I got put oh hold for hours, hung up on, transferred to empty lines.....etc.

I'm running out of options and time. I've had no prenatal care and am having complications. I even went to the ER this week.

Someone suggested contacting my senator's office to see if they can help. Does anyone know if they deal w/ these kinds of problems?

My husband and I have had unprotected sex at least 5 times this month. First on the 4th, then on the 7th, a few times in between and then the last time was this past Saturday (3 days ago). After the 7th, I took two pregnancy tests, both were negative, but that has been almost two weeks ago... making it too soon to really detect.

Anyway--I started my period today after it just ending on the 3rd and the blood is much thicker and heavier than usual... and brown in color instead of red. It's never been like this. Is there any way I could be pregnant or even have miscarried?

my daughter waits untill no ones watching, then she goes in the fridge and takes a bite out of every apple. she knows how to open the crisper and ive tryed the snap belt that they sell at target, they loose their stick after a couple of weeks. please help me childproof my fridge. Its a waste of money to be throwing away food all the time. she also does this with lunch meat. and hot dogs, and cheese

My Daughter is a little over 7 months old and she can get up on all fours but she acts like she wants to walk and not crawl. She can stand up by herself for a couple seconds and stood up by herself with no help at all. Any Suggestions to helping her learn to crawl??

Today is my CD 3, but it is very light. I was spotting on Sunday and Monday pretty heavily so I assumed it was my period. But now on CD 3, it is very light and barely there. I had an IUI done on July 5th and was hoping to be pregnant this month. What is this kind bleeding - a period, implantation bleeding, or miscarriage? My period usually starts out heavy for the first 3 days, so I'm confused because today is CD 3 and it's barely there. What do you think this is? I have been on a variety of fertility meds this month so it messes with my body. I'm so confused. Has anyone been in a similar situation? What do you think? My hubby and I are planning to go natural next month since the meds are not working for us. I've been on meds for about a year now and I'm still not pregnant. Both of our bloodwork and my HSG came back normal. Any thoughts?
