i am due on my period today and couldn't wait until morning to do a test. The test was a really cheap one but i saw a very faint line. I am going to do another one in the morning but what do you guys think?

A really faint line means you are pregnant! Congrats! The darkness of the line depends on the amount of hcg your body has produced and since you are very, very early in your pregnancy you aren't producing that much hcg yet. Wait a couple days and take the test again just to be sure. Call your doc if you want a blood test.
I'd advise that you take your next test in the morning because your urine will have a higher concentration of hcg and you may see a darker line! Good luck!!

Congratulations, Natalie, you're pregnant. The line is faint now because you don't have a lot of hormone built up yet.
edit: Wait until morning to do another test, when your urine is more concentrated.

Hi, your most likely pregnant but i would defo do another test in the morning. Did you get the faint line before 10min, because sometimes it can be an evaporation line after 10min. Good luck

Any line means that you are pregnant, even if it is faint. I would take another test in the morning to confirm that you are pregnant. Congratulations!!

I took two name brand tests and thats what I got when I was pregnant, I waited a week between the two and it was still faint, so I went into the local health clinic (they do tests for free) and got it confirmed.

Faint lines are the start of more prominant lines. Testing this evening after holding your pee for an hour may show an even daker line.

It doesn't matter how faint the line is. If there is a second line present, it's a positive test.

it the line was in the preg. space then you may very well be pregnant! that happened to me with my son. often the line is very faint, but a second test wouldnt hurt.

YES! You are PREGNANT! any line, as faint as it is, is a postive. I would wait till morning, and use first morning urine to test again. It should be darker by then

A line is a line congrats you are preggers. If you doubt that you are then by all means take another test tomorrow. Congrats!
