usually if you've been trying for minimum of 6 months to more than a year (which is more likely), then you should seek a fertility specialist. Sometimes if you've miscarried two or more times, the obgyn will usually do some blood work and/or refer you to a specialist.

If you're under 35, they recommend you see a doctor after one year of trying to conceive. If you're over 35, you should see a doctor after 6 months.

We were told that after a year of trying with no success to address it with my OB/GYN. There are all types of tests they can perform to try to find out what is going on.

A year is when you should go into the doctor to see if you are infertile and get yourself and your man tested for infertility.
