I have a 2 week 6 day old baby boy. I don't know how to get him to stop crying. It's not cause he is hungry because he cries with my breast in his mouth! He is not wet or dirty. He burps a lot though. Could it be gas and if so how do i fix it???

My hubby has twins all through his family, as does my father's side of the family. Yet even though my maternal grandparents had SEVENTEEN kids, there is no sign of twins anywhere (except ONE cousin out of SEVENTY who had twins a few years ago). This cousin's mother who is my natural aunt has no twins in her family.

Is there any chance for me to have twins?

LAst month I had unprotected sex and then my period came like 2 days after. However, I have been getting sick every morning for the last 2-3 weeks. I had unprotected sex last night and my period is due by the end of the week. Could I already be pregnant?

why do women keep calving if havin' a baby hurts so much?

My daughter is going into 1st grade and the kids k-4 are NOT allowed backpacks with wheels. They also need baby wipes, camera's, tissues and paper towels. Along with ziplock bags. There are 33 kids in each class, how many of these items do they really use a year? How much do you think is left over?

Some teachers require the kids to have those fold up matts and they specify, "no roll up matts".

Why do teachers do this. are they trying to make it hard on parents. Now, I am not by any means disgracing teachers, but I want to know why all the crazy demands? Wouldn't it be better on the first day of school, to put all those wipes and stuff in a hat and let the kids draw? This way you don't get too much and the parents can save $$ without haveing to buy all of it. I know there is some left over in the closest.

I am having my third sonogram on August 9th (will be 28 nearly 29 weeks). They were not able to tell the gender because the baby had his/her legs crossed. They also were not able to get all the measurements due to lack of cooperation.

Can they tell the gender when you are that far along? I have heard it is very difficult to see the farther along you get. Is this true? Has anyone had gender confirmed in the third trimester?

At the beginning of my pregnancy, I had what you called "implantation spotting" and that's how I realized I was pregnant. Then later on at about two months into the pregnancy, I had very very mild spotting one morning (brownish). I went to the OB immediately, but there were no problems fortunately. But a number of people of shared with me that they also had this problem, especially when the foetus is a boy due to the male hormones released by the foetus. I'm wondering if there is a connection between foetus gender and mild spotting during pregnancy, or others who had also experienced this situation early on in their pregnancy.

OK, I had a pregnancy scare and it turned out negative. I was happy about that, but now I find myself wishing it was positive. I'm still young and really make only enough money to take care of what I have now. My boyfriend and I have been together for 8 and half years and just bought a house. How do I get rid of this feeling? We have already planned that in a couple of years we would try, but I can't help but feel I want it now even though I can't not take care of a child financially. Sometimes I wish I would have had them a little closer together so they would atleast be in the same school at the same time. They way our shcools are set up is headstart, elementary, jr high, and high school are all in different buildings in different areas of our city. My kids will not be in the same building at the same time ever. It scares me that they will be all alone in school. Do you think that matters?

This is one of the 3 foods my 18 month old son will eat. I am not a fan of tuna helper and I did a search for recipes but most seem too exotic for a small child or involve gobs of time I dont have. (PS. he will not eat macaroni and cheese so mixing in a can of tuna with mac and cheese isnt an option)

my son is now 3 years old and i'm toilet trainning him. at times he will let me know when he needs to go to the toilet and when he does he gets a lot of praise and if he does do a wee or a poo he gets to push the button which he enjoys doing. lately he has been doing most of his wees and poos in his nappy for example he did 3 poos in his nappy in one day. feeling frustrated and feeling he is not getting the concept i have tried using the time out method which understandably had a negative effect. as he is young and still learnning i feel that all i can do is give him lots of praise when he does the right thing but if anyone has any ideas of how to go about this please let me know.

My son is 11 months old and sometimes I think he is a bottomless pit. I feel like I am feeding him way too much, but then he is my first child so I don't really have any experience with this. I only feed him until he is not acting hungry anymore. He is not overweight at all, but at the rate he is eating I'm afraid he will be soon. He is eating table foods now, and perhaps enjoying them a little too much. Do I have any reason to worry? Serious answers please.

We are newlyweds and want to have a baby for the first time. I'm off the pill now and I was wondering if you need to lie on your back and keep your legs up as I've seen in a few articles in order to help the sperm gravitate upwards?? One article said do this for 20minutes. Last night I did it for a while and then when I peed it just came out anyways. New to this .. advice would be great :) We are just really not stressing over it yet, if it happens, it happens.

She woke up this morning coughing, the coughing wasn't really harsh but she was gagging and would almost throw up. It kind of seemed as though she was congested, but nothing came up when she coughed, and her voice was scratchy. Is this something I should be concerned about or is this just maybe a cold coming on?

She doesn't eat very healthy. Hardly ever eats fruits and veggies. She is busy and just doesn't have time to cook alot. She does take a prenatal vitamin everyday. I'm worried that her not eating many fruits and vegetables will end up harming her baby.
