We are newlyweds and want to have a baby for the first time. I'm off the pill now and I was wondering if you need to lie on your back and keep your legs up as I've seen in a few articles in order to help the sperm gravitate upwards?? One article said do this for 20minutes. Last night I did it for a while and then when I peed it just came out anyways. New to this .. advice would be great :) We are just really not stressing over it yet, if it happens, it happens.

I have read that you should try to lie on your back for 20-30 mins with a pillow under your butt and your knees bent....and to use missionary or rear entry (Doggy) haha because that gets the sperm closest to the uterus. Dont know if it is true, I guess I would be pregnant right now if that were the case. But good luck trying! Enjoy it and your new husband and dont become one of ~US~ TTC obsessives....we are a large club but hopefully you can avoid the heartache and frustration. Baby dust to you!

There are several methods they say to use when trying to conceive. Does it really work well that's another question.

They say by propping your butt up on a pillow during sex so your at a incline will help maintain the sperm longer as well as propping your legs up for 20-30 mins will help as well. As well as a woman having an intense orgasm helps due to the muscles contracting and holding the sperm closer to the cervix.

Gravity is always going to win and some sperm will still leak out your not going to be able to hold it all there. While all these suggestions may help to keep the sperm closer to the cervix. You will not conceive unless your body is in perfect harmony. It's amazing how some woman seem to get pregnant by looking at a man and others have to work like the devil just to get their first child. It all comes down to the woman's body being perfetc rhythm i.e. hormones, time of the month etc. (and the man having healthy sperm). So, while you are "trying" have fun with it. Make up new positions, stay in bed and cuddle longer ect. I hope this helps.

Some of it's going to come out no matter how long you laid there. You're just giving the majority of the swimmers a fighting chance. I've heard you want to put a pillow under your bottom, and yes, if there's a way to prop your feet up on a head board or something, and read a book for a few, that's supposed to help. couldn't hurt, anyway.

Now everyone can cure infertility using this natural remedy http://pregnancyhelps.info
infertility can run in the family and one of the first things the doctor asks you when you go to a fertility clinic is your family history regarding cases of infertility or other reproductive issues.
If infertility is caused by genetic disorder then it's not unusual that one of the kids (your mom) doesn't have it and another does (your aunt).
two months of trying is still to early to be concerned about the fact that you might be infertile and it's also quite early to go to a fertility specialist. Go to a regular Obgyb to get a closer insight and see what ways there are are to improve your fertility rate.
Also remove alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes from your life because they might influence your chances too. Stress is also a risk factor when it comes to infertility.

With my first pregnancy, I got pregnant even though I immediately jumped up and went to the bathroom. With this pregnancy I did stay laying down for a few minutes before using the restroom. My doctor told me that the good stuff is shot way up in you and wont leak out, and that you should always go to the bathrrom right after for sanitary reasons.

... Last time my lady & I had sex, i left my legs in the air for quite some time... But the sweat off my nuts kept running through the crack of my *** so bad I had to quit that practice.
AND I never got pregnant!
