At the beginning of my pregnancy, I had what you called "implantation spotting" and that's how I realized I was pregnant. Then later on at about two months into the pregnancy, I had very very mild spotting one morning (brownish). I went to the OB immediately, but there were no problems fortunately. But a number of people of shared with me that they also had this problem, especially when the foetus is a boy due to the male hormones released by the foetus. I'm wondering if there is a connection between foetus gender and mild spotting during pregnancy, or others who had also experienced this situation early on in their pregnancy.

I have no clue...
But I only had implantation spotting... no more than that and I'm having a girl.
I *do* think however that there are a number of things that can cause spotting. I just don't know if having a male baby is one of them.

Good luck in any case!

Never heard that one before, but I figured it's just like all the others...tales. It's always got a 50-50 chance, so of course it's going to be right alot. Personally, I'm having a boy & never had a single amount of spotting.

Spotting has absolutely nothing to do with your baby's gender. Nothing. Hormones do develop the sex of the child, but they have nothing to do with spotting. Spotting is common for all pregnant people. Doesn't matter if it is a boy or a girl.

In my opinion....No, it's not related to the baby's gender, I say this because I had the same problem during the beginning staged of my pregnancy, & my baby was a girl. Just take it easy, & try not to do too much.

Nope. I have 2 boys and no spotting or bleeding at any time. It's another one of the Old Wives Tales.

no..spotting doesn't have anything to do with gender. Just coincidence for some of the women that experienced it
