Eating healthy is a very good idea when you are pregnant, both for you and the baby. But the fact is that many people still don't. If she is taking her prenatal vitamins religiously, she should not have any vitamin deficiencies that could harm the baby. I would still encourage her to eat healthy when she can.

when i was pregnant with my son i was in a very bad relationship where my babys father would only spend money on his drug and fishing habits. I was eating alot of speghetti and canned what ever was donated to me and what ever i got from wic. plus i drank alot of milk. A retired friend always gave me his donations. It also came with alot of generic frosted flakes. I didnt eat very good and i was allergic to the prenatals.....my baby was two weeks early and weighed 8lbs 6oz is was and still is at 21 months very healthy! My second baby who is now 8 months i ate perfect. He was a week early and was 8lbs 6oz. That just goes to show that her baby can come out ok but i definately recommend she eat a little better. Maybe she could talk to her doc about eating healthy on the go.

she should eat healthier, since she is busy you could possibly make her things like pasta salad with veggies in it or fruit salad then take it to her and it can be in the refrigerater without spoiling for a few days. I am 6 weeks pregnant and I make sure that i get at least 5 servings or fruit and 5 servings of veggies daily. I want my baby to be really healthy! good luck and god bless!

I don't think that will harm her baby. She's just going to gain a ton of weight. Just because she doesn't have time to cook, doesn't mean she can't eat right. If she's eating out, tell her to get the healthy food.

Agreed... from experience... they baby will be just fine. It will take from her whatever it needs. She's the one who will suffer. Either in gaining too many empty calories or just not having the energy or mental fortitude to deal with the pregnancy. Your body can be the healthiest it's ever been when you're pregnant if you feed yourself well and exercise. But you don't have to worry about the baby.

well as long as she takes the vitamin her baby should be healthy
but you could
cook up some veggies for her like make the beans, and green beans, and carrots,a and sweet potatoes ect, and give them to her,
all she would have to do is nuke them.
How bout that?

The baby will be perfectly fine. It takes what it needs from her, even if it means she doesn't get any of the vitimans & such she needs.
