My 15 mos. old, and my husband, love this...
Creamed Tuna & Peas
4 Tbls. Butter
4 Tbls. Flour
1 tsp. Salt
¼ tsp. Pepper
2 C Milk
1 Can Tuna, drained (use 2 cans for a heartier dish)
1 C Frozen green peas
Melt butter of very low heat. Add flour, salt & pepper; stir until well blended. Remove from heat.
Gradually stir in milk and return to heat. Cook, stirring constantly until thick and smooth.
Add tuna and peas. Cook until heated through.
You can serve over toast as my Mom did or for a fancier twist serve over Puff Pastry Shells (you can find them in the freezer section, I like the Pepperidge Farms brand).
This is an old family favorite ~ the only way my Mom could get me to eat peas! I still love it!

My family has always made these tuna patties, and they are probably my favorite food on the entire planet. They are fried, which could be a downer, but as long as you allow them to drain properly before eating they aren't greasy.
For each 6oz can of tuna, you'll need 1 egg, 1 tablespoon of flour, and enough cornmeal to make it all stick together. Use and seasoning you like, we've always used a genorous sprinkling of Nature's Seasoning. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, and then spoon them like you would drop cookies and fry them until they are brown.
Instead of draining them on paper towels like Granny always did, I set up an upside down cooling rack on some newspaper, this way the oil has a chance to drain away without the food having to sit on top of it.
These pair wonderfully with rice, and only take about 5-10 minutes to cook, depending on how many you are making. Each can of tuna should yield 2-3 patties, and serving size would depend on the individual.
Hope this helps.

If you have bonito be sure it was bled on the boat otherwise it can be quite strong. A very simple Italian dressing then onto the b-b-q is always a winner. Add in some garlic. If you want to use it with pasta saute up onions , garlic and tomatoes. Toss in the cubed fish and cook until just done, 2-5 min., do not over cook or you will have fish jerky!!. Toss in fresh flat leaf parsley at the very end. Don't forget the salt and pepper and even red pepper flakes you like heat. The pasta shape is your choice.

This sounds a bit silly and simple, but this has been a favorite in our household for much-needed quick lunch/dinner meals.
Tuna, Peas, Mac & Cheese
Make a package of Mac & Cheese (or homemade if you have the time); add 1/2 to 1 cup defrosted frozen peas (or add frozen peas to boiling pasta with 2-3 minutes left); add drained tuna; mix and enjoy!

My kids, 5 & 2, love tuna with mayo. On a sandwich or just in a bowl. They love it and even share it with their cat! yeah cat food too LOL
Try tuna on cracker, add some fun stuff like cheese squares, or other meat squares, they love to make their own.

An easy fix is to warm a can of tuna mixed with cream of mushroom soup and serve over toast.
Another is tuna salad mixed with diced apples and walnuts -- miracle whip or mayo to desired consistency.
Hope this helps.

I used to make this for some kids I babysat, and they loved it:
Make batter for biscuits on the Bisquick box. Put spoonfuls of the batter on a piece of aluminum foil spread over a cookie sheet. Mix the tuna with some mayo and put a spoonful of that on top of each batter spoonful. Then top it with some shredded cheddar and bake until the biscuits are done. Hope he likes it!

I recommend not complicating it. My son has always loved tuna, and he wants mustard in it. He's a big fan of sweet and hot mustard, so I mix that with some of his favorite vegetables; usually onions, and pickles; and some shredded cheese. He goes nuts and devours it.
Mileage may vary, though with each child.
