40 weeks pregnant today, no sign of labor just lots of pressure

It could be near. Some women will go a week past due though and some need to be induced. Have you passed the plug yet? Gone through or going through a major nesting period? Frequently need to urinate but not much is coming out?
These are a few things I know I felt the day I went into labor. Then the menstrual cramp feeling that progressively got worse as the night wore on.
You will know it is coming.
Don't wait or wonder about your water breaking as a sign either. Only 1/10 women have their water break on its own. Most times the water breaks well after they are admitted into the hospital or the doctor will break it.

You won't be pregnant forever!! Try the herb blue cohosh or fenugreek to help move things along. Also Raspberry leaf tea will help. pressure is a good sign that things are near though... walk alot and get your bag ready!!! Congrats!
