My son is now 6mo and just started solids a month ago. For the first time he is constipated and I just bought some prune juice today to mix with his boiled water. How many parts juice should I put with the water? Thanks in advance.

Half juice and half water should do the trick.

If you are using Gerber juice you can give it full strength, otherwise I dilute my kids' in half. I have found that Karo syrup works better though... about an ounce in a 6 oz bottle ought to get things moving for you lil guy.

if he is not normally drinking juice, mix it half and half. karo syrup didn't work with my children, so it's no guarantee that it will work for yours. if he doesn't like the prune juice, apple and grape juice does the job just as well.
