On a scale of stars:
*=Hideous Name
**=Don't like it
***=It's okay
****=Sounds great!
*****=Awesome name, love it!

So if you could just rate each name that would be great!

Sarah Michelle=?
Brooklyn Ann=?
Ashlee Marie=?
Cassidy Jane=?
Deborah Loudine (be nice it's my name lol)=?

Just to let you know Ashlee is just like Ashley
Broooklyn is just like the City
Cassidy is pronounced Cat with out the T- Sidney without the n
Deborah is Deb-or-uh
and Loudine is Lou-Dean.

and if you have other cute baby girl name suggesttions thats great too!

Thanks!

I gor Brooklyn because I loved the name Brooke but I thought Brooklyn was a unique very pretty name. As for the Ann part, thats my mothers middle name. Me and her share the same first name but I dont know if I want to name my baby girl Deborah too so I thought Keeping Ann was nice.

so anyways. what do you think of it?

What are other nice baby girl names?

My niece will be turning 2 in just over a month. For her first Christmas I stuffed a huge gift bag with stuff. The only thing she ever really played with inside were the books. For her first birthday I got her a lot of books. for her second Christmas I decided to get her clothes instead. I know her favorite toys are books. Whenever no one's around she'll grab a book and look at it for hours. We'll for this birthday I still want to give her books but something a little more so she can do something besides look at them. I bought some crayons and a coloring book. What else should I get her? Clothes are out of the question. Also can anyone suggest any particular books she might like. They have to be paper.

There seem to be 3 views on this issue. The first is that all pharmaceutical pain relief is bad, and that mothers that use is are selfish. The second view is that moderate pain relief is fine. The third is that the more medication you can get the better.

My question is this - to those who hold the first view - why are you so opposed to using pain relief? It doesnt harm the baby, and makes the expectant mother's job easier, thus making the babies life easier, right? Or am I wrong on this?

If it was harmful to the baby, surely they wouldnt prescribe it. SO why NOT use pain relief?

I particularly want to hear from expectant mothers or others who oppose the use of pain relief.

My friend has just become a nanny. The parents live in a gated community, kinda of out of the way!!! They only have one child a little girl who just turned 2. They informed her that she cannot watch any TV and that it has to be all activity all day except for nap time. They won't let her take her out anywhere and if they go outside it can only be for a few minutes. What should she do and are there any ideas that she can use to keep the child entertained???

Earlier today i was out with my step dad and we ran into some snotty middle school girl and she was wearing really short shorts. After we were away from her my step dad said "Her shorts where so short that you could see what she had for breakfast this morning." Besides from pointing out that the shorts where too short what did he mean by that? Like what did her breakfast have to do with her shorts? I feel stupid for asking but i really want to know. its been bugging me since.. thanks~

I was with my best friend yesterday when she took a pregnancy test. She's thought she was pregnant several times before so I didn't think much of it, until she ran out of the bathroom with the test, hysterical. The test was positive and she was pregnant. Dont get me wrong. I was super excited for her and I'm thrilled she's having a baby because Im going to be seeing it alot anyway..but then later that night I started feeling a little jealous. I was diagnosed with PCOS a few years ago and was told I'll probably never be able to have kids. like I said, I'm very happy for her, and excited that she's going to be a mom..but how can I get over feeling jealous..and then feeling guilty about being jealous?
