His eyes are blood shot and hazy and he is very irratible. Not acting like himself. Just a concerned momma.

As soon as I came back from my honeymoon, I found out I was pregnant.
My wedding was a freeloading frenzy and it really burned me on my friends and family.
My new husband and I came home broke!
However, we love our family and friends and would like to include them on "welcoming the baby" with a shower but we are tired of being suckers.
We are considering having a shower at a restuarant and would like all of the guest to pay for their own drinks & dinner!
So, my big questions are

1. Should guest be given their own bill by the restuarant?
2. Should the host receive money from the guest to pay one big bill?
3. Should we have a set menu with a per person charge ($40 pp)

my wife is 4 months pregnant now. she went to the doctor today and she lost 2 pounds.
she doesnt really look pregnant yet.
is that normal? i mean around what month do you start to see ur belly get big?
she says her weight was like 154 before pregnant.
she now weight 148 after loosing 2 pounds since last visit.
is that normal.
she eats healthy no junk food or nuttin like that.

2 years ago I was immature and messed up. They were harsh though I sincerely regretted. I lost their trust, though there was no reason for this, cause I've never messed up again. That was terrible, devastating, they were important to me. For a year I did my best to earn their trust back, suffered a lot, but didn't succeed. Anyway, my life changed, I got great proofs of trust of teachers and other adults. I grew up, found strenght, stopped suffering, gave up my on parents, got over they didn't trust me. I knew I was trustworthy, from the emotional point of view they weren't important any more. I know they are even proud of me but we hardly talk. They have my lil sister and I just live there, have several good activities and people who trusts and help me, especially a teacher that's like a mom. Now my parents seem upset whth this, maybe they now realize they had no reason to treat me like that. They are trying to rebuild a relationship, but this would be hurtful I don't deserve more pain, now I can't trust they love me, can't see them as loving parents, they didn't act likd that. There are wounds that won't heal. How do I deal with this until I leave home?

I am only 5 weeks and not having any symptoms. I went to lunch today and was deep in thought about work and I passed a woman on the street that had to be about 8 months. Then I was hit that I am pregnant. I felt so guilty. It is not that I forgot of course! But I just was out of it for a bit because I dont "feel" anything yet. Please tell me that someone else has experienced this and that I am not a bad mommy already.

do most doctors just do one ultrasound during pregnancy if it is going normal, or do they do a second one near the end?

My son will be 3 months on August 7th. Lately he has been extra squirmy during his feedings and it's makes his feedings last 30 min or more sometimes. Even though he's just under 3 months, do you think it's ok to move him up to Stage 2 nipples? Btw, I use Dr Brown bottles. Thanks

me and my husband went to the dollar general to get a pregnancy test. as soon as we got home i took it. that was probably about 7:00 pm. well the first "window" where it tells you plus or negative, there was a +, but the line going up and down was faint..but then a little while later it was dark. all my tests have been negative up until now. do these dollar general tests really work? like are they as good as the ept's?

My step son is now stating (thanks to his mums encouragement) his dad is beating and verbally abusing him?
He has told the school and a number of psychologists that this is happening and he doesn't want to come here anymore! He spends more time with me than his dad but still gets special time with him and seems to be happy and thoroughly enjoying himself when he is at our house. This has come up as there are behavioural issues at school and the mother is blaming dad.

I have a baby and I allways I'm trying to guess how hungry he is... I can't to know how many oz. of formula I have to prepare him. Some times I waste formula because he don't drink the whole bottle.. He is 8 months old, and sometimes I prepare 4, 6 or 7 oz of formula... but... I allways waste it. I is ok to wait two or three hours? I'm using Costco brand formula. Acording to the label, you only can wait one hour after the baby starts drinking the bottle.. but... it's very short time!

my husband and I have a 2 mth old baby boy. His three kids live with us, the youngest being 12yr old girl. We dont ask the kids to take care of the baby or anything but we just found an email with her telling her friend that she hates the baby. What do we do ? If I come out and ask her about it then she realizes that we have access to her email (no judgement she is 12 and we have stopped several problems before they started ) I dont want her to resent the baby but I dont know how to get across to her that he is only a baby

I am looking to buy maternity clothes, and so far I have only found clothes that are ridiculously expensive (like jeans that are $100) or clothes that are affordable, but very "mom" like and unstylish. I am especially looking for pants, jeans, and things like that.
