I found that too- it doesn't seem to disolve as well as some of the other brands. You can stir it (with a spoon or fork) rather than shake the bottle- that helps. I used this formula with my daughter, and it was fine, no problems and I saved a lot of money!

I actually think that the Parent's Choice is better than some others. The Kirkland (Costco) brand would bubble very badly during feedings as air reentered through the nipple. I would probably end up with half a bottle of foam at the end.
One thing you'll notice on the can is that you can make it up to 24 hours in advance of using it. I use very hot water to mix it to help eliminate clumping, then put it into the fridge. When I need to use it I nuke it in the microwave for 35 seconds on a 6 oz bottle then shake well to eliminate hot spots. This way bubbles are virtually nonexistent when you use it.
I really haven't had any problems with Parent's Choice and this is my second child I've used it with. I'd be using the Kirkland brand now (because its even cheaper) except that we had to switch to soy because of eczema and Kirkland doesn't make soy.

Formula is regulated by the FDA so I would not worry. If you buy the brand name you are paying for the label. It is your choice, but the ingredients are all the same. I think they only make milk based and soy based though. If your baby needs a special kind of formula you will need to go with the name brand stuff.

i use enfamily lipil and when i shake it it makes bubbles.
I watched a baby for a year and she used that parents choice formula and i think they both make about the same amount of bubbles.
if you are concerned then make the bottle ahead of time to let the bubbles die down some.
It can sit for 2 hours before it has to be thrown out and 1 hour after the baby sucks on it until it has to be thrown out

If you read the can, it says it dissolves better in warm water, so try warming the bottle BEFORE you add the formula. Also, as another person said, try stirring instead of shaking.
And yes, I have noticed bubbles, but for half the price...

I personally think when I shake my daughters formula it makes alot of bubbles thats why i make them in the morning to last all day so that by time she needs it the bubbles are gone. She is on Similac Alimentum.

No, it was a crappy brand altogether. My daughter had bad reactions, gas, to it, and they wouldn't even take the unopened cans back because my daughter grabbed the receipt and it got drooled on and ripped because I was having trouble trying to pry it out of those tiny slimy fingers, lol(she's teething, and chewing on her hands). They thought I was trying to rip them off w/ WIC formulas. I even wrote wal-mart about how WIC is a supplemental program, they only provide small cans of powdered formula and usually a name brand that is available at any store, not a store brand unless doctors orders. So their main office called me and told me the store would take it back because I was right, and when I went in they still wouldn't do it. The main office sent me a ten dollar gift card for the inconveince but I still never got my 30 dollars back from the two unopened cans. So I don't shop there unless it's an emergency anymore. Lol just my bad experience with the corporate conglomerate. But I don't support their brands on anything, most everything I've gotten w/ a wal-mart brand is crap.

Both my kids drank it. I had no problems. Maybe I'm one of the lucky ones though. *shrug*
