Ok, I'm 3 days late with no sign of my period. I have taken two negative test and today my lower back and hips have started hurting. Not like cramps, more like I threw out my back. Last night my husband noticed that my stomach was more firm than it usually is (usually really squishy). It's still like that almost 24 hours later. It's not gas. Could these be pregnancy symtoms and the test are just wrong? We are ttc so it would be great if I were pregnant.

Could be that you are pregnant, but you need to wait a bit longer and test again if you don't get your period. Symptoms like those can occur in early pregnancy, but they certainly can't confirm it. The tests are generally quite accurate, but it could be that it is too early to get a good test result. Good luck!

I am right there with you. I should have started the 21st and here it is the 24th. I am usually right on time each month. I have crampy feelings like I am going to start and I got to the b-room and nothing. We have been trying for a while now and hoping. I have looked around and maybe our hormone levels are not high enough yet, or maybe our bodies are trying to punish us for some reason. The best of luck, for both of us.

Hips and back don't start this early in the pregnancy. They usually start in the second trimester towards the end. I don't know what it could be, but I would call your doctor.

I would ask for a blood test just to be sure. Sometimes a urine test won't pick up the HCG if you aren't very far along

your stomach would not get so hard this early on unless you have an enlarged uterus..but its not the baby..go take a blood test..
