I have a bunch.
They love The Very Hungry Caterpillar
Stellaluna
Owl Babies- I read that over and over and over with our son.

For our baby now- it's anything by Mercer Mayer- just a few words on the page and pictures that are colorful.

She also loves any book that has a dog in it.

My own personal fav?
The Velveteen Rabbit.

The Giving Tree is awesome! The tree gives and gives so selflessly, like parents do. I always get emotional reading it. Although, I do know some people who don't like it because they see the boy in the story as selfish.

I recently gave my 12 year old For One More Day by Mitch Album. It's her first "grown up" book. It's about a man who has regrets in his life and longs for one more day to set things right with his mother. She was a single mom who was always there for him, and unfortunately, he did not realize that until it was too late.

Just this past year I bought all my girls a copy of the book Tuesdays with Morrey and wrote them a little note personally to them. I LOVED the book when i read it 10 years ago and now that my 5 are ranging in the ages of 21-12, I thought they would enjoy it. My middle one just finished it and loved it.

To the 6 and 10 year old I like to read and give them Dr Suess and The Ugly Duckling. I also gave them Wayside school books and they loved them.
My baby loves the Little Book Of Kisses. It is so sweet, not to mention I would get kisses for reading it to her:)

Polar Express. Wonderful story about a Christmas train ride and meeting Santa. The movie is quite different from the book.

CS Lewis' "The Chronicles of Narnia"

It's about a group of siblings who enter a fantastical world through a wardrobe. Lots of mythical creatures and adventure.

Forget the movie, the books are wonderful especially "The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe"

Once upon a potty!

Still a favorite in our house of 2 girls who are 2 and 4. It teaches potty training and all the body parts of a girl. Kind of graphic with cartoon pictures, expect alot of questions during the book! It held their interest and taught them some good info.
