There is currently a Restraining Order on the Father of my kids. He has current visitation of Wed and Sundays. He has just move out of state 6 hrs away. He wants to take the kids every other weekend? I think its a lot of traveling for the kids in the car every other weekend with school on mondays early. I feel like he should live in my state so the kids aren't having to travel so much each way every visit. There is a 3yr, 6yr, 10 yr old involved. What are my rights as a concerened mom? Can he do this? At the moment on the Restraining order that expires in another year he can't even take them out of the county. What can I do?, we have the court date coming up.

I was 24, just out of college, and needed a car--a family member convinced me to let them finance the car for me because of her outstanding credit and excellent relationship with the credit union where she could get an exceptionally low rate.

She wanted the car titled in her name, it has never been titled in mine...

I carry insurance on it, I drive it, and I have made the payments to-date.

The problem is this family member has since turned LOONEY TUNES and is basically stalking me (LONG STORY)--I have had to get a restraining order against her...and I don't want to have anything to do with her anymore!!!

I am simply not in a position right now to purchase the car from her, and so I would like to turn the car over to her and be done with it AND HER!

My question is, can I do that??

trying to get insurance/healthcare for the 40 million she quotes instead of all of America being insured by the federal government and ending the ability for malpractice suits? Does it really make sense to cover those that are covered or those that are not covered? does it really matter how much you must pay for the "free" healthcare (where did you think the money would come from? Is this not another way to ushering in lower wages for all Americans since it will be "free"?

i have huge knots and bruises on my hands from being in handcuffs. the officers told me that they had warrants for my arrest for not showing up to court, and didn't let me talk to magistrate, and didn't give me copies of my warrant. My dad went to the courthouse and got a copie of my warrant and it says I was arrested for assualting a police officer and didn't say anything about failure to appear.

the police officer that arrested me knows me personally ... he showed up at my house "by accident" to serve a warrant on someone else ... all of a sudden he saw me, walked back out to the car and then came back and said there were warrants at the police dept ... but we went straight to magistrate's office and never to police dept.

does this sound fishie to anyoen else?

my employer let me go today. I was only with the firm for 2 months. their bases for letting me go was b/c a security guard from their clients building accused me of a false accusation. He stated that I threw something at him; i denied the claim and requested to review the sureilance tape...they said no. They cherish the client b/c its the firms bread and butter;even though the guard wrks for the management companie not associated directly for the the firms client; my boss didn't want any bad reviews period. that was half the reason and the other was b/c they said I was not progressing, which is bs b/c the other day I was told I was doing good. I want to bring a separate civil suit against the guard for making an outlandish, falsue claim which cost me my job and for slander. sorry for repeating, just want to stated the fact. I'm so pist. advises would be nice.

when i was a young girl,i liked to shoplift thats bcoz my frens teach me how to shoplift..i was addicted to shoplifting but i did not get caught..cool isit??a week after,my fren got caught for shoplifting..the manager called his father and his father came..she was crying and crying non-stop..i pitied her..am i guilty or is she guilty??

She lives in my apartment complex and I see her every day pacing back and forth for an hour at a time on the balcony ( back and forth, maybe 8 feet maximum lenght). She's dressing in a burka and obviously belongs to "that" religion. She's also obviously never allowed to leave her small apartment and her only exercize is this pacing. Should I call the cops on her mean, iron-fisted husband for treating his wife like a farm animal?

I'm doing a project for English where i have to make a video, and need music in the video. She says we can only use "royalty free" music, and i think thats bull. Isn't there a law that will let you use a band's music if we acknowledge them at the end via credits (I think there is), and if there is, where does it say that we can? YouTube does it all the time. How do they get by with it?

Like you see law and order defense and their helping guilty people but you say to your self that no lawyer would actually do that. Well ive gone to feild trips and seeing people who have killed and walked away cause of a bogus fluke in the system that lawyers expose.

Im not saying that all lawyers are bad but id say 90% are bad. What are some other careers that you think are bad and do you think lawyers are evil?

I need to register my daughter for kindergarten and the school requested a copy of my daughter's immunization record. I called the doctor's office were she had her shots and asked them if they could provide me with a copy of her record and they told me that because i have and outstanding balance they would not give me the record. I looked it up and found out that according to the nys patients bill of rights they must give it to me. So i kept calling and they kept taking down messages and then finally when i called today one of the ladies there told me to never call there office again and started to yell and harrass me saying that they dont care about the law and that i should pay my bill, told me to never call again and hung up the phone while i was still talking. Now i am so mad! I never knew i owned that much money $1000and all i needed was a copy of my daughters shots,what am i supposed to do?Hold her from school?This is rediculous,there must be a way,i really need somebodys advice.

if a bunch of white kids had stomped a black kid nearly to death and got sentenced to 22 years, would je$$e jack$on have gone down to jena and complained how 22 years isn't enough, instead of complaining how 22 years is too much for a black kid who was part of a group who stomped a white kid nearly to death?

Or the Irish who were treated just as bad if not worse than Blacks. They came here after slavery as did most of ever other immagrant that is classified as "white" but in fact were minorities and treated like outcasts of society.

i had a fantastic job, one that i will never find again w/ no college education. $25.00/ hr. My ex got me fired yesterday. We had e-mail accounts for work related issues. A business message was sent to everyone. My ex was on my e-mail account, from home, because he had gotten into my personal stuff and had got ahold of my password. He selected the "reply to all" icon and wrote a message- something like: this place really sucks, they need to get there heads out of there a----. And then it was recieved all over the united states, to every employee, even corporate. They terminated me the minute i arrived. I told them that my ex- boyfriend had gotten into my Email and sent this ( i have recordings of him saying he hopes i like my job and my life because he's going to end them). They said I should have not let him get ahold of my password! i now have a message from him admitting to what he did. Do i have any way to fight for my job, or charges i can file against him?

I don't quite understand the whole copyright laws for mp3s. I understand if music under copyright laws is distributed, then the person distirbuting it can get in trouble. But what if you get mp3s from a file-sharing site and don't distribute them, can you still get in trouble?

My last day was a month ago (I quit)...I still haven't seen my final pay check. The law says I have to get it within 7 days. But is it my responsibility to pick it up, or theirs to mail it? I don't have time to go all the way there to get it, nor do I want to...they caused me so much stress and aggravation I'm likely to punch someone out there.

I work in a call center but our company is making us work our stat holiday but we never signed anything legally binding us to work the holiday. they are saying if we don't work we don't get paid. I am under the understanding that as long as I work full shift before and after they legally have to pay us is this true??? any help would be appreciated thanks

A white kid was being made fum of at school by a group of Black kids. They were calling him cracker and honkey. He gets fed up and calls the main kid a racist ni' ' er back.

He gets suspeneded from school and nothing is done to the black kids.

Both are wrong here so why would the white kid be the only one punished when he said something in the defensive?

They both should be punished and both should have learned a lesson about racism but instead the white kid was punished.

if i was to file a suit to sue a person in kansas what would be the filing cost? IS there a site online where i can look up filing cost for a civil suit per state? (i have come up empty so far)
I dont want to call a lawyer yet.
