Given the appalling atrocities which almost came to fruition within the UK over the past few days in the name of 'Allah', and given the history of Irish catholic bombers who caused a multitude of atrocities within the UK over the past thirty years is it not time that all religions were now banned?

It is not as if they are based on any facts. Many of the things which the churches used to tell us were the gospel truth, such as the age of the world only being 6,000 years old and the universe being created in a week as described in the book of genesis, have now been shown to be embarrasingly inaccurate!

Now that the government has banned smoking in public places should they now ban all religious practice in public places too?

Well we hear all this sotries and reports of rape cases and the first thing that comes to mind is a guy forcing himself on to a woman.
But is it possible for a woman to rape a man? I mean I know you can rape a woman because of their anatomy but wont it be impossible to rape a man because he will you know have to be into it to get some wood going?

I didn't take my name off because we were still talking at the time and I had money coming in for my tax return and state taxes. I honestly would like to see her put in jail. I gave this woman everything I had in exchange for my property being sent to me and I even said screw it when she claimed to have "accidently" withdraw my state taxes and tax return. She then started writing bad checks from her own personal account and depositing them to our old joint account. Now we owe the bank 1256 dollars and I know she is not going to pay it because she just got married so why would she. I have honestly had enough her **** she has had my **** for 6 months I can't go down there and get the stuff and she screwing my credit so now I can't open a bank account. She has completly ruined my life since the break-up and during she has cheated on me numerous times that I didn't know about. She is nothing more than a common criminal and I want to see her punished with the full extent of the law.

I live in a duplex & control the temperature for both units. When I moved in, the landlord told me he would send us the gas bill & we had to split it half & half. Six months went by & we didn't get a bill. Finally, he called me & told me to switch it into my name & pay off the balance on his account. I did this & the girl below me & I split the balance on his account. I immediately had problems collecting her half of the bill on time each month & started to regret putting the service in my name. She finally moved out a month or so ago; I wrote him a letter saying that I wanted him to switch the bill back to his name as soon as the new tenant moved in. A new tenant moved in July 1st. I called his assistant last Monday & told her I wanted the service switched July 1. Five days later I heard nothing, so I called her back, she said he wasn't going to switch it. What can I do to make him? I don't own the home, it isn't in my lease that I have to have utilities in my name... HELP!

Ok so my uncle owns a cattle ranch in new Mexico. So anyways a few days ago he caught some guy loading up his cattle on a semi trailer.

It turned out the guy was from Mexico he was illegal he stole the truck from a truck stop in Texas and also had a Fake drivers ID.

So my uncle shot him and killed him for trying to steal his cattle which is legal.

Do you agree with this?

Note my family has a rancher background and I think it is justified the shooting it is.

This is the 3rd time its happened in the past 16 years.

OK I was renting a house from a couple and my lease stated nothing about carpet cleaning when I moved out and they want me to pay $180 for that. Next they said that I hit the siding with the weedeater 2 feet from the ground and there are chunks cracked ou tof it, they have no pics of it from when we moved in so they cant prove it. Next the said since the 5-6 year old carpet has wrinkles they want me to pay to get it stretched. Carpet stretching is a natural occurence and is not my fault. Has anyone ever bee in this situation? I am planning on going to court because all they are charging me adds up to $760 and they wont give my security deposit back.

Over the past 200 years (a tiny fraction of human history) torture, public execution, slavery, labour and sex exploitation of children have been outlawed by developed nations. Why is it that religious use of children continues unchallenged?

Okay so everyone is sketchy on this topic and I want to hear your opinions on abortion. I'm a guy, and have gone to Catholic school for the past 12 years, with the last 2 years practically destroying my faith with the deep tangled web of Christian morality. I find that that some of the stuff I was taught contradicted itself, or was completely out right intolerable. One story about how a Catholic church in Boston dumped orphans out of there orphanage after the city declared that gays have the right to adopt (if anyone has the full story I'd like to read it for myself). This was almost praised in my school by my religion teacher. But anyway, getting off topic I just wanted to prove that religion isn't really affecting my decision, I'm still against abortion. I knew a vegan who proclaimed he wouldn't kill even a sea urchin for food, claiming it had a central nervous system, but had no qualms about a partial birth abortion. I'm sick of people undermining human life.

"Fast Food Lawsuits" appear to be the next big thing in suing-for-profit. But where do people actually find lawyers sleazy enough to sue restaurants for common-sense things?

I think I've got a great purely-for-money class-action involving about a dozen major fast food chains and their menus/advertising, but have no idea how to get in contact with the kind of big-time legal parasite needed to actually make a case out of it. (I don't even know where to start looking... local guys are too small to go after fast-food giants. Do I just randomly email the big New York guys till one bites?)

Big class actions are all the same- The lawyers who file these suits make a damned fortune. Those "named" people representing the class pocket a decent chunk of change. The other hundred thousand suckers get a coupon for 25-cents off a large fry.

I want in on the action.

My brother in law is currently was working under the table, paid in cash, as a landscaper. He is a US citizen and recently was injured at work... badly enough so that he is unable to work. (His knee is swollen, with a possible ligament tear.) Unfortunately he does not have health insurance, and cannot afford to seek medical attention. What are his options? Can he claim disability? Is there anyway for him to have monetary support while unable to work? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I live in Ohio. I made a power of attorney for my son should he be hurt that my parents and my brother can autorize medical treatment. I also made a notorized statement that I wish for my brother to be his guardian should I die. His father was incarcerated when these were made and got out 2 years ago (tomarrow huhh imagine that opps sorry) any way he and his family have made little to no effort to visit or call him. In fact not once since they were in the 4th of July parade last year and saw us on the parade route. They know where I live, my phone number and I have never said they could'nt visit or call. I do have a record of every contact no matter who initiated it saved on my computer just in case. I doubt they would try for custody but you never know. Is my notorized statement enough? I did give this info to an aquintance who works in a law office but she hasnt got back with me.

a ticket agent at a New Jersey Airport? I was getting boarding tickets for my son. I asked the attendant if I could ask her a question, she looked at me and rolled her eyes without saying a word. The other attendant that was next to her saw roll her eyes at me and said "Ask me, I will help you". Then again she looked at me and rolled her eyes for the second time. I wanted to get the supervisor in charge but my son stopped me. What should I do about this? How can I file a complaint. Please help. Thank you.

Friend told me that her 2 year old has black eye b/c nanny 'lost it' and hit him for misbehaving. Apparently "the only time" it happened. Should my friend file a police report? See a pediatrician immediately? What is the best course of action at this point (yes, the child will not be going back there, that part was obvious).
I think a police report is in order cuz this lady is licensed and could have access to other children in the future - and I contend that it is NEVER ok to hit a child - one strike and you're out.

Am I too harsh? What should be done? What's the law?
