Basically the house to our left has been emptied and filled multiple times in the past couple years but this time they're staying. My parents and I are 99.9% they're doing/dealing something. My question is what type of evidence must you have to call the local police department on suspicion (spelled wrong) of drugs? We can't just call them and say "hey our neighbors are rowdy they're on something!" Our neighbors are odd. I've seen atleast 20 vehicles pull into there driveway (only far enough so their rear-end doesn't get hit by traffic) honk the horn, someone comes outside, they go up to car window, and the car leaves. This happens ALOT. They also keep a "guard" dog chained up outside in their driveway so people can see it maybe? They also get into LOTS of fights in their front lawn with different people every time. What do we have to hear/see in order to take action? P.S. The Popos show up about once a month for random things. (Fire, dismestic disturbance) to name a few.

Even if legally president do have power to appoint or fire US attorneys taxpayers are still the one paying for. US attorneys are appointed to serve people not president or a political party.

I have only had my phone number for 6 months. The previous owner of this number evidently did not pay her bills. Now her bill collector calls me thinking I am her. I have informed them that I am not who they are looking for. They have been calling me nonstop. Sometimes multiple times in one day. I have considered changing my number, but it angers me to think that it will come to that. I have even contacted the company explaining the situation. That has not worked. Any suggestions are appreciated.

In Indiana, at what age can you emmancipate yourself? Where I live (Missouri) it is 18. Someone told us in other states it can be one age for males and another age for females. Just wondered if anyone knew.

Some of MKULTRA's activities were also detailed in a 1963 internal report from the CIA's inspector general. This acknowledged that "concepts involved in manipulating human behavior are found by many people both within and outside the Agency to be distasteful and unethical" and warned that "some MKULTRA activities raise questions of legality". But the details didn't become public until the late 1970s. So I was surprised not to see more on the programme in the "family jewels". Perhaps CIA staff didn't think that forcing mind-altering drugs onto unwitting citizens was a big deal. There was a lot of it going on in the 1960s, after all.
Still, the few references to drug testing in the newly-released documents make chilling reading. Go to page 416, and you will learn of a behavioural drug screened as part of "larger programme, in which the Agency had relations with commercial drug manufacturers, whereby they passed on drugs rejected

Obscenity laws state that in order to be obscene, it must be considered by the community as a whole as being obscene. With this in mind, consider that the porn industry out sells Microsoft by 25%. If thats not the community as a whole accepting pornography, then what is? Let me know what you think.

Lease / Small Claims Court / Unkown Tenant ? Arkansas?
I leased a home to roommates for one year,( both names on the lease) they defaulted and I had to move them out.
I am going to take them to small claims court for the balance of the lease due and damages.
During the process of cleaning the home, I learned that another person had their mail forwarded to the new address and all the utilities where in their name aswell.(not in the lessees names) Their name that wasn't on the lease.
The question I have is;
Can I legaly include the person who supplied the utilities in the small claims filling ? They may have been living there without my knowledge as a subtenant.

I have never run into this type of problem before and I am completely stumped.
Any information would be greatly appreciated about how to go about this small cliams filling...

While I read some questions and answers in yahoo answers forum upon legal matters I often read this line at many places ; ''guilt should be proved beyond reasonable doubts to make somebody criminally liable''.
What does it mean (India)??
What are those REASONABLE DOUBTS of some case beyond which guilt of some accused should be proved to consider him an offender (India)?

Suppose some surgeon by mistake forgets to remove a SWAB during operation from some patient's abdomen.
Few days after operation that patient dies because of sepsis & complications.
In that type of cases----''doctrine of res ipsa loquitur''---- applies very clearly.
So EVEN after the thing speaks for itself ;
must some plaintiff prove GROSSNESS of negligence or
wrong intention (Mens Rea) of that doctor;
beyond all reasonable doubts to make him CRIMINALLY liable in India??
And if that plaintiff fails to do so will court set that doctor free from charges of criminal negligence in India?

The man I live with is 62 years old and after retiring from his job about 6 month's ago he was asked to come back part time. He worked for this company for 5 years, and was an excellent employee-not one mark agaisnt him.
Monday he tripped over a mat that was to high to begin with, and other employee's were also complaining about this mat.
He slammed into a machine, and broke 5 ribs severly, and bruised his lung.Today it will be 4 days that he has been hospitized. He has now come down with a blood clot in his lung due to the injury. Due to his oxygen level falling to 50 % and his heartbeat out of control, he is now in the Intensive care unit.
The company has informed him that through work comp, he will recive 2/3 of his pay. They will also pay his medical bills, although he is retired Navy and has his own benefits. He is a very sick man at this time.
Will this company be liable for more than his wages?

Is this true? If so, why in the world does it make any difference? Like if I made out a postcard and messed up on the address, pulled it off, then glued it to a new postcard, why would that be illegal?
Not that it would stop me, but I'm just curious as to if there's any truth to it.

And she moved away, she said she gave it to this other girl to bring it back to school the following week (which also happens to be the end of school) and the next Monday the girl claimed not to know anything about the camera. Then she also moved out of the group home. All I know is that my friend is somewhere in Arkansas. Who can I contact to get it back? What should I tell me parents? It's been like 2 months since school's been out and I still don't know what to do.

Financial disclosure documents released before the 2000 election put the Gore family's net worth at $1 million to $2 million. After years of public service--and four kids needing high-priced educations--Al and Tipper used to fret occasionally about money. Not anymore. They have a new multimillion-dollar home in a tony section of Nashville and a family home in Virginia, and have recently bought a multimillion-dollar condo at the St. Regis condo/hotel in San Francisco. Available data indicate a net worth well in excess of $100 million.

I used to work part-time at a doctor's office and, of course, had ZERO benefits. After two years with out a vacation and having to go to the free clinic for my health problems, I asked my boss if I could be moved to a full-time position that I qualified for. She told me "no" because she was worried about what effect a full-time job would have on some one in school as I was (and still am) in college. I understand her concerns, but can she legally/seriously use that as an excuse for not giving someone a full-time position?

(I was just reminising about my old co-workers and was simply curious)
