I am inquiring from anyone familiar with the law or better still, Singapore law, my rights against false arrest by a)civilian (shop employees, security guards, shop detectives) b) law enforcement officer, assuming i have not commited any felony.

Also, i want to know my extent of freedom in speech and how the line is drawn, and what speech/words would be deemed unlawful and could result in legal charges against me

I am not sure, but someone has taken a candy mold and made the candy lollipop that it was intended for and then wrapped the lollipop in a cute way and wants to patent that idea, is that possible?

To clarify, I am a white male, and have dated nothing but Asian women since I started pursuing girls in high school. If beauty in in the eye of the beholder, then my reason is this: I find the almond eyes, the facial features, and body types appealing. In Filipino women I find the darker skin very sexy. But my attraction is not superficially skin deep. I can speak Tagalog fluently as well as Japanese, and just because they might be Asian, thats not reason enough for me to jump on the first one I see. I value the cultural background & personality as most important. So if I'm attracted to features that just so happen to fall under the race category would It still be considered being racist? Curious on your thoughts.

If this is possible/legal, would the court system in a particular state bother to do this to locate someone for failure to appear in a minor civil case?

I'm just absolutely enraged how much healthcare is in the US. My mother can't get essential surgery she needs because it isn't deemed necessary by her insurer. My father can't get the necessary tests he needs because his insurance won't pay for it. My mom had to fight for years in court to get medicine for my brother who's autistic. Insurance would not cover anything for him, they labeled everything as experimental and said that nothing was necessary. My insurer refuses to cover my medications unless if i complain and file paper after paper of claims. Why can't we get help in the richest country in the world? Why doesn't the US rank as #1 healthcare in the world? What can we as citizens do to change this? As i see my mom getting crippled by the pain in her knees because the insurance wont pay for a replacement it saddens me so much that there's nothing i can do to help.

Glasgow is in Scotland which is a country battling for independance from England. And from now on im going to be as nasty as i possibly can to ANY muslim i meet and if this question means im removed from answers then so be it. My young son returned from a holiday in a muslim country this morning into glasgow airport, they were happy to take his money in that country and he was expected to treat those people with respect. but i have told him to have as much respect for them now as they have for him and to spit on them as this is all they are worth

the police raided my home, tore the place apart, strip-searched me, took pictures of my children and insisted i tell them where my drugs were hidden. problem is, i dont deal drugs! they handcuffed me, treated me like a criminal, embarrassed me in front of my entire neighborhood. the most traumatic thing is they did a cavity search on me.
i have never been in trouble with the law before. now im paranoid thinking every one is watching me even though i am not a criminal.
would i have a case against them in a civil lawsuit? i was served with a search warant, but they were totally wrong about me.

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

My understanding is that there are two interpretations: One is an "individual right" and the other is a "collective right."

If the right is individual, why does the article mention militias at all? If the right is collective, why doesn't it just read, "The right of a well-regulated militia to own and bear arms..."

This Thursday I quit my position with a company because I found something better. Subsquently, I was paid Thursday for the two-weeks prior. I was salary, receiving benefits, and Monday-Thursday should have been considered as my last days.

Well, this Saturday morning I checked my bank account and the money I was paid Thursday was removed from my account by the payroll department. This caused me to become negative in my bank account. I contacted my "past" Supervisor and he said he didn't know what was going on; yeah right.

Legally, what are my rights and who do I contact? My Mom says the labor board and a friend says the EEOC. I believe they did this in order to get procedures and other information from me, however; I feel what they did is malicious and illegal given that this wasn't supposed to be my last check from them. In addition, it makes me apprehensive to give them any information because there is no gaurantee they'll pay me what is due to me.

my husbands grandfather died. and the way the will states, his wife (my husbands grandmother) only has use of the property and would not be able to sell if she would choose to do so. he left everything to his children but if they would want to sell, my husbands grandmother can say "no" and the kids won't be able to sell. this doesn't make sense to me...

Hi Guys,
I am hoping someone may be able to help. I am moving closer to my work area to make things easier for me and recently I went to view a room in a very nice place and was told I could have it. It was renting from a guy who claimed to be out on business alot and I viewed it while his girlfriend was there.
Originally I thought I was moving in that Sunday which I was certain he said but then it turned out to be the following as 'his parents were staying' so I assumed it was my confusion. Anyway, he was very hard to get hold of on occasions, often replying to my text the following day or having to call him more than once before he answered. Obviously I found this frustrating but since we had arranged a time, date and he knew I had arranged a van to take my things I didn't contemplate he would do what he did, just assumed he was a very busy person and working alot therefore didn't have lots of time on his hands. I thought this seemed a perfectly reasonable explanation as I am often
