I was in Spencer's, there was a "penis pop", so to speak, on the counter where you pay. I was a few dollars short of a discount, so I thought what the hell. And since I had absolutely no use for it, I gave it to my friend.

I gave it to her outside the mall, by a large group of kids congregating. Naturally, "police officers" came up in order to break up the crowd, and when they saw the lolli-pop, one demanded her to hand it over, and threw it in the garbage can.

Did he have the right to do that? He claims it's because it is not family friendly, and we were outside on public property (Funny, though, because when we smoke, he calls it private property). However, they sell it inside the "family friendly" mall.

When a person changes Medical Insurance, does the first and second insurance company have the right to give information about you to each other? Is it up to the state? How does the HEPA law fit in? I am beginning to believe that the primary concern of insurance companies is to get rich, even if it means their clients die or become homeless. Look at the victims in Missisippi and New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. I know we need insurance but it is a nessasary evil. P.S buy insurance when you are age 18. It is SO much cheaper. The price seems to double every time you become 5 years older.

There's this guy I know who is ''somewhat'' my friend. I don't trust him 100% but he said he could get me stuff like really nice cars and a quad for EXTREMELY cheap (like half the price at a store). If I agree he will steal them for me. Could I get in trouble if I am found with a stolen car or quad? What are the laws regarding this? I will just say I wasn't aware they were stolen.

Any help appreciated. Thanks.

I don't want to go after the father but the state of WI won't leave me be. How do I get them off my backs? The father is with me and isn't going anywhere so why won't they leave us be? How do I file for good cause for the both of us?
and lastly, if all else fails and I decide to skip the state, what happens?

the hospital is threatening to send me to collections even if I pay each month, but don't pay the amount they are requesting per a payment plan. I want to know if this is legal. It was my understanding that as long as you are paying something each month to the hospital, they cannot send you to collections.

My cousin works for the CIA, not sure what she does and so does her husband. I'm not sure what he does either except for being licensed to kill people. I'm really into forensic science and criminal investigations and even though im only 13, I'm still already studying law, criminal procedures, and DNA and all that stuff to.

How the country is ran determines how they will live and whether or not they will be able to stay out of legal problems. Most of them are in jail because of their living conditions out side of jail, which boils down to financial problems that cause mental problems; both of which are not being attended. They have not lost the right to live, then they should have the right to vote.

My ex husband is suppose to pay 300.00 every other week for child support. Originally we had custody set up on every 2 weeks alternated. Now he told me we could reduce this to every other week *if* I would return the chid support to him. I did this because my kids were so miserable with him and his new wife. Now he is wanting me to write a letter that is notarized showing I pay this back and always will until the kids are 18. He wants this because he is trying to finance a house. If I do this to keep the peace, will this hold up in court, should we ever go back to court?

When someone does a background check (like a potential employer) What shows up and what doesn't. In context:: A man who assaulted his girlfriend, and plead bargained in order to not go to court, court decided to have a deferrment (meaning he doesn't go to jail, just has to be good for one year) After that year is up, does the charge stay on his criminal record forever, or does it get cleared up eventually. Will employers see this? Will it follow him around forever?

In Pennsylvania, my landlord died and his live-in girlfriend claims she's now the landlord. I guess she's going on the whole "common-law wife" bit, but when he was alive I wasn't even allowed to give her the rent! he knew she'd spend it. Her name was and is not on anything having to do with the house, deed, bank accounts, etc. When landlord died, he was in the process of fixing some things. They still haven't been fixed so I stopped paying rent. Legally, I wonder who owns the house? He has no family that has come to claim his property and if "possession is truly 9/10 of the law" then don't I have a claim on the house? Also, if she sells it (to me) and her name isn't on the deed, if a "legal" claimant comes along, can they take the house away from me? I have an appointment with a real estate attorney next week but in the mean time was curious if anyone out there had a real clue to what my rights could be. Thanks.
