First, a person under 18 would be a boy or a girl. There are no women under the age of 18; she would be a child, with, actually, no legal rights. She cannot enter into any kind of contract (including marriage).
Secondly, abortion, partial-birth abortion, whatever, is COLD BLOODED MURDER, first degree murder, whatever you want to call it.
It is not a "woman's right". Murder is NOT a right.
Unless you believe it was "immaculate conception", that fetus is half of the male's.
For those of you who want to argue it is "woman's right" to commit murder, I say, thou hypocrit, why do you demand child support?
You can't have it both ways: if it is yours (the woman's), then men have absolutely no obligation.
Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

I think it should never be necessary, but that it sometimes is. Lots of teenagers don't have the resources to make informed choices about their health, and denying them an exit strategy is attacking the symptom, not the ailment.

For this reason, I'm also against required parental notification for minors requesting an abortion. A teenage girl who wants an abortion will do so because she does not have the support structure to raise a child at home. Regardless of how she got herself into this, an unsupportive home is no place to raise a child and certainly not a home in which she would be comfortable discussing such a topic.

Give me a thumbs down if you like, but I've seen the consequences of denied abortions to unfit parents and the rage and anger of unsupportive (would be) grandparents. I don't like abortions any more than anyone else, but I do not think it should be illegal.

Also, at the stage of pregnancy in which I do support abortions, I don't consider it a baby. It's a fetus, a collection of cells. Not a human with constitutional rights.

I'm against abortion at any age, especially under eighteen! Girls under eighteen should not even be having sex or getting pregnant, let alone having an abortion! Besides, girls under eighteen need to face the consequences of their actions and learn from their mistakes. They shouldn't be allowed to bail themselves out by aborting their children! If girls don't learn at a young age that actions have consequences, they will not endure this life!

Anyone who wants to kill a baby is crazy, no matter what their age. For the pro-choice crazies out there, before you all start ripping me, remember no matter what argument you make when you are done talking you are still killing a baby and there is no way to rationalize that. Now with the new conservative Supreme Court and Justices Alito and Chief Justice Roberts we will finally get rid of this barbaric "right". Show me where in the Constitution you have a right to an abortion and I will change my stance.

u shouldnt have sex in the first place.
if u did, should have thought of that in the first place!

if u aborted a child ur morally wrong, and be prepared to live with regret and guiltiness.
if u had the child than ur wrong too. do u really think ur able to take care of a child and ready to be a mother? btw having a child early also harms ur body. u've given all ur nutrient to the child.

just dont have sex!

Abortion is murder, killing innocent children, because people want to keep being a how, and not taking responsibility. I think anyone who has had an abortion because they wanted to, should be taken out and shot, for being a child killer.

While abortion is legal, minors should have to have parental permission from both parents. I don't think that abortion should be legal, except in cases where the mother's life is in danger.

i think as long as you can ask the baby and if baby agrees to die, then yes i'll all for abortion.... for the answerer below me... GREAT POINT!, why do women demand child support if the guy is supposed to have been no part in the baby's life. if that's not hypocritical, i don't know what is.
