To clarify, I am a white male, and have dated nothing but Asian women since I started pursuing girls in high school. If beauty in in the eye of the beholder, then my reason is this: I find the almond eyes, the facial features, and body types appealing. In Filipino women I find the darker skin very sexy. But my attraction is not superficially skin deep. I can speak Tagalog fluently as well as Japanese, and just because they might be Asian, thats not reason enough for me to jump on the first one I see. I value the cultural background & personality as most important. So if I'm attracted to features that just so happen to fall under the race category would It still be considered being racist? Curious on your thoughts.

I find that people interested in only the physical are more than a bit shallow and racist, but if you can live with that, then go for it.

The fact that you speak the language and claim to value the culture and background is unconvincing. It sounds like a way to justify a pre-existing sexual preference. An addendum to, rather than reason for.

My guess is that you are a short guy with dominance issues. That's the typical profile for this stated preference.

You have a right to be attracted to whatever physical qualities you want.

Everyone has different attractions, some people like only blonde hair or only black hair. Some people only like certain eye colors.

I would not see your point of view as racist. BUT you should not restrict your dating to only your preferences. If you are not dating anyone and begin talking to a regular white female (or whatever) and you are making a connection, you should not rule her out because she is not asian. If you did, that would just be closed minded.

I would not call any ones sexual preference racial. I happen to think Asians, men and women, are an attractive race. I might also add I have known a few Asian women. Do not let it surprise you that, after your marriage, they are not that sweet, submissive little thing you thought you were getting ; )

If you treat people poorly because they are not Asian, that would be racist. If the people you are attracted to all happen to be Asian, that is no more racist than if you like long hair, or short hair.

There's nothing wrong with it. Everybody has preferences when it comes to the opposite sex. And asian women are pretty.

To each his own.

My den mother when I was in Boy Scouts was a Japanese/Mexican mix, and I had a crush on her for years. Guess what I prefer?
