Of course right now i am talking about a guy marrying a guy.

The same logic applies to a woman marrying a woman if it was illegal for woman to marry a man.

i don't think the government should tell anyone who thy can or can't marry. but that wasn't the question, i wouldn't get married I'd just live with and love the person for me.
and fight for the right to marry who i want.

If you are talking about a woman marrying a woman (or guy a guy) then it does say that right now. so no i would not marry a woman (i am a woman). but if the government said it was against the law for me to marry a man then i would not marry because i don't like girls in that way. this is a dumb question and doesnt make sense because you arent telling us what sex it is against the law to marry if you are either the same sex or the opposite sex.

No they are not going to force me to marry who I do not want to but then right now I can marry a woman and not a man what changes would they have to put in and how would the grandfathering of the bill be accomplished.

Absolutely not! I don't think it's the government's business to tell us who we should marry. I am a heterosexual woman, but I have no desire to ever get married. My boyfriend and I have been in a mostly-monogamous relationship for seven years, and nobody has the right to tell someone else how to live their lives, as long as it's not hurting anyone else.

Well, I am a woman who is married to a guy, so yeah. I'd have no problem with it.

One would hope that those hetero males like myself, already married to females, would be "grandfathered in". But, otherwise, "no"! I would rather remain single than to be involved in a so-called "marriage" to another man! Besides violating my morals and sensibilities, I would be violating God's laws; so, no thanks!
