Basically the house to our left has been emptied and filled multiple times in the past couple years but this time they're staying. My parents and I are 99.9% they're doing/dealing something. My question is what type of evidence must you have to call the local police department on suspicion (spelled wrong) of drugs? We can't just call them and say "hey our neighbors are rowdy they're on something!" Our neighbors are odd. I've seen atleast 20 vehicles pull into there driveway (only far enough so their rear-end doesn't get hit by traffic) honk the horn, someone comes outside, they go up to car window, and the car leaves. This happens ALOT. They also keep a "guard" dog chained up outside in their driveway so people can see it maybe? They also get into LOTS of fights in their front lawn with different people every time. What do we have to hear/see in order to take action? P.S. The Popos show up about once a month for random things. (Fire, dismestic disturbance) to name a few.

Also, if it means anything, we live in a ghetto town.

I have the same problem going on next door to me right now. The druggies found out that we called the cops on them and came over my house last night and threatened me. I called the cops and they came 5 min later. But this is the first time they've shown up. I've been calling the police about the parties, fights, drug dealing, cars with flat tires parked in the street for a month or more, etc. They just don't seem to care. I care about my street and where I live and I have a daughter. The druggies are two ex strippers with 3 kids and their boyfriends so you have 8 people living in a small house with one bathroom. The other day their toliet stopped up and they sent one of the kids outside to take a dump in a bucket, one of my other neighbors witnessed this! I told the police that they smoke pot outside and they think they are hiding it from everyone but they are not, it comes right into my house. Sorry I don't want to get high these days, I got over that in high school.

You don't have to have any evidence to call and make an anonymous report.
I live in a very nice subdivision outside of ATL and we just found out that 3 of the houses in our subdivision were "grow houses" for pot.....They paid cash for all 3 houses and none of us had a clue!! 3 police, 1 detective and 2 fire cheifs live right next to the houses and they didn't even know. These are million $ houses. You never know your neighbors nowdays. The police found out because one of the neighbors call concerned because the garage door was up halfway and bent and thought someone broke in. Otherwise they would still be doing it today.

Ok, first of all I want you to know I am from a ghetto town as well, and we learn to mind our own backyard, but if it is really getting to you and your family the only thing I can tell you is to call the police and let them know about what you have seen or heard. What ever you do please don't go play super hero's now a days people are crazy and don't care what they do to others.

First worry about your own safety. If you don't know the people you don't know what they can do. Two just call the police anonymously and be done with it. It is their job to do investigation and tell them in detail why you think they are dealing drugs. One more suggestion just try to move to a better neighborhood.

Our police system in America is too often the source of the problem. If they've been there that often and haven't detected drugs, they probably won't (on purpose). Why risk getting the neighbors mad at you? Just keep your distance. The truth always comes out. That way, if you are wrong, then no one gets embarrassed.

Do they own sources? Or are they renters? i'm guessing they are purely renting, which means the homestead proprietor they are renting from has an obligation to evict them off the premises for bobbing up a public nuisance. If the homestead proprietor won't evict them, you're turning out to be criminal recourse to record a greater healthful for public nuisance, and tolerating/bobbing up an surroundings that encourages criminal interest. Surveilance video is criminal, see you later as you're actually not recording them interior their place of living by using a window. see you later as they are out in view of the regular public, which incorporates the hallway, pool area, patio, etc.. then you're loose to record. the final to video human beings in public is an analogous constitutional top that paparazzis are making use of to stalk celebrities, following their each stream.

Watch the house, discretely, and log the traffic for a week. Try not to be seen, and get as many tag numbers as possible. Especially note particularly busy times. Note disturbances, and fights as well.

Then call Crime Stoppers, tell them what you think and give them your surveillance notes.

Just call the cops. Let them send a patrol car around to determine if there's probable cause to enter.
