Worker's Comp is for injury in the workplace. If you were assaulted at work, you would have a WC claim, but MAY have other claims against your employer and/or the person who assaulted you. For instance, if your employer was aware of continuing conflict and refused to terminate the aggressor, the inaction could result in another claim. Keep in mind though that any recovery outside of WC would have to pay back WC before you get anything.
EDIT: If you were not injured at work, you may be eligible for disability.

If the assault happend in direct result of your working, then yes.
But in most cases, that isn't how it happened.
Workman's comp is insurance for if you are injured on the job, and are unable to work. This allows you to still collect a paycheck while you heal/receive treatment. It is for the employer more than for the employee, for if someone was injured while on the job, then the employer would be liable to pay for the salary of the injured employee, plus pay someone/others to cover that person's productivity while they are out. It eases the burden for all.

Only if you were assaulted while on the job. Otherwise, you are out of luck. Sue for Assault and claim lost wages.

You might be able to file for short term disability. Contact your local job service or employment security places. They can tell you what to do from there.
