If you people really believe this, then you are sheeples, and you clearly are willing to surrender control of your life to the courts. Sure, for guys, what the judge is doing to Britney is in many ways sweet revenge, but what they do to Britney today, they will be doing to all of you, and your children, and your grandchildren tomorrow. All your ex has to do in the future is find someone willing to claim you were intoxicated or acting lewdly in front of your children, and you lose custody of your children, and large sums of money for custody. Never mind that the person testifying against you might be getting all kinds of rewards from your ex for their testimony, your life will now be controlled by a judge. There is no requirement for a trial by a jury, no requirement of evidence, nada. The courts are now able to dictate the morals of the individual.

Wake up people!!!!

I need some opinions. I went grocery shopping at walmart yesterday. They were extremely busy. The cashier stuffed all my items in just a few bags. My husband placed the check out items in the cart while I placed the remaining items in the checkout. When I got home to get the items out of my car, all the bags were breaking because they were so overpacked. Only 2 bags didn't break. Every other one had ripped handles or holes in the bottoms. One bag had 8 canned/glass jars and it was not double bagged. That bag ripped as soon as I lifted it out of the vehicle. My cheese sauce broke. I had an extra-large sized can of spaghettio's and it fell out and landed on my toe. Today I have a big bruise and it really hurts. I also purchased 2 packs of ground beef and she placed them in one bag and stuffed one of the large sized boxes of tostinos pizza snacks on top and ripped my package of meat. It wouldn't have taken any extra time to give us more bags, but instead I spent extra time cleaning the

To let couples have as many children as they want except that for every child after the first they must pay the price of $5000 to the government.
Do you think this will be a good law? And do you think it will work for 3rd world countries? Do you think there will be any consequences and will people raise opposition against it? Is there anything I can change about it or any different suggestions about controlling mass population growth in a 3rd world country? And please give me a reason for your answer.

How do you get some kind of closure when you've been mistreated by an irresponsible lawyer. My divorce attourney took my retainer,($1500) then never returned my phone calls, and never filed any papers on my behalf. She even layed out of work on my first court date, sending a partner in her stead who knew nothing of my case. I lost custody of my children that day and the entire case swung out of my favor. I lost at every turn. Later I lost my job and asked her to file for my child support to be refigured. She failed to do so, and I wound up in jail. When I asked why she failed to file the papers, she told me it was because I owed her $1000. She never did anything for me, so why would I owe her another grand? She did show up at my final divorce hearing, but by then the case had swung so heavily in my ex-wife's favor, that it was too late. The final hearing was her only appearance in court with me, and it was only to have the judge approve our agreement.

When did it become acceptable for judges to tell people how to run their lives, on punishment of taking their children away and large sums of their money. Doesn't anyone else see how wrong this is? Is this really in the best interest of our children. Shouldn't there be some requirement of proof that a child is in real physical danger. Shouldn't there be a jury trial before the law can take away a person's children? Testimony from a disgruntled former employee should not be considered adequate. Clearly this is a violation of the 5th and 14th amendments. At what point are people going to start realizing how much of their rights have been eliminated by these types of family court actions?

So a mother can decide if she wants a doctor to take her unborn baby's life.

But when I'm on my death bed I have to suffer and can't decide if I want a doctor to take my life?

That's saying that I can't make my own decision on having my life ended but a mother can decide for an unborn baby.

We bought 5 acres in Alabama. However, it will be two years before we start building a house as my husband just accepted work overseas. For some reason the people living to the right of us have cleared out almost an entire acre OF OUR LAND with what appears to be the intent to plant vegetation on it. I was told that if they fence that area in after a certain amount of time they can legally claim that land. What steps can I take to ensure this does not happen. Do I send them a copy of the survey of the land? Do I have a lawyer draft a letter? Do I have the sheriff's office contact them? I do want it in writing that they acknowledge that that is NOT their land. And if I want to make the land a "no trespassing area" do I just put up signs or do I need to have that in writing also? I think this is the most ridiculous law I have EVER heard of.

My ex-husband signed a hodge-podge contract with me promising to continue promoting our music business and professional and personal services of video editing. He has done none of this. In fact, he said during a deposition that he never had any intention of fulfilling the terms of the contract. Yet he signed it and there is a damage clause of $12,000 a year until the year 2060 to be paid to me. How can this be settled? Can he be sued for fraud?

Can anyone explain to me, in simple language, the constitutional basis for traffic infractions in California? Specifically, I am looking for a justification of why certain rights, like for example the right to a trial by jury, are not applicable. I know the penalties are limited but I don't understand what that has to do with it.
