My ex ends up in jail at least once a year and all that happens is I wait until he gets out and gets a job and starts paying again. All he dont pay when hes in there just adds up in arrears and makes it hard on us.

There is a court hearing and a payment plan...I just went through something like this and was then was surprised to find my then bf in another paternity suite...we had split for a year...I left him...he will never climb out of the hole of this for 18 years with two kids...and him telling females that he had prostrate cancer and was sterile...shooting blanks...dead beat is dead beat

you get nothing untill he she gets out of jail and back to work you might have to go through your states welfare system to help you get by but they get a cut
