My landlord claims to have started the eviction process. We got into an argument cause she keeps opening my mail. She threratened to evict me. So She served me a 3 day notice charging me for 6 months of back rent ( im current with my rent ) and i month future rent. Then she 1 week later her friend serves me with a notice from the court house saying i need to pay 25 dollars a day starting the same day. The court papers were clearly fake, they had clear stickers on them in the spots where case numbers were. My Questions are:
Can she get a judgment like that without a hearing? and is that a crime for forging court documents? advice please

Is there anyway I can find out who called Children & Youth on me? I have a feeling it was my bitter ex, but just to make sure it wasn't a nosey neighbor or something...My case was closed, and "unfounded". I heard there was an address in Harrisburg I could write to find out who the rat is, anybody know?

I want to send a joke letter to someone asking them to fill out a survey. There is nothing threatening, not asking for money, no vulgarity and the survey will not even be included for them to send back. So really the letter serves no purpose except to be kind of annoying.

I'm wondering if it is illegal or not to put a fake return address with a fake name like Smith Research Institute. Is it considered some sort of fraud to be posing as a fake institute. Like I said, I wouldn't be asking for anything in response.

This is more of an opinionated answer since no one here can be sure. But I'll ask anyway, I just want your ideas as to what I should do.

I'm a fourteen year old kid and I have been expelled twice so far, once for starting a fire (very stupid I know), then I went to a private school and got expelled right before the end of 8th grade for doing triple c's even though I wasn't high I had VERY high blood pressure from doing them the night before and was expelled because they wrote that I had posesion on my record (which I think is illeagle since that was a complete lie).

2 days ago (Thursday) someone had smoked pot in the bathroom and some people saw me and my friend walk out and I had just bought a bowl that day so it was in my backpack and i just sold my friend 1 gram so it looked horrible after it was reported. They searched my **** and found what we had.

I live in Tolland, Connecticut. I want to know if going through my PERSONAL BELONGINGS (Backpack) was legal.

people of every race are allowed or permitted to go everywhere they like however not for too long! some clubs have huge membership fees and in a way they exclude people who can not afford it, so you only see white people there. there sometimes may be a person of different race there but they are guests! isn't that a way to keep out people of other races?

Not dealing but just using them. More people are killed by aids but they don't make premarital sex and other irresponsible behavior illegal and with sex you're spreading the disease to other people as well and not just hurting your own body. Some laws just seem rather arbitary because there are plenty of more harmful things like smoking that are legal.

I'm a single mom with 2 children, ages 4 & 5. We've all been living with my mom while I grew my online business. Now I want to move out, but she's upset about us moving away. (I want in-home therapy for my autistic son, but she doesn't want therapists in her house all day, which is understandable, but I can't just put it off!) So now she's telling me that we can't take anything she's bought for the kids with us when we go, like their beds, toys, & clothes. These items were not bought for general household or guest usage, they were bought as presents for my kids alone. It's not like I'm trying to take an antique table! I just want the items my kids are used to having as part of their routines.

The "funny" thing is that when I was a child, she flat out told me that everything given to ME, actually belonged to HER, since I was only a minor. Far cry from what she's claiming now.

So can I legally take my children's things with us when we move? I can't afford to replace them

My grandmother was named the personal representative of my father who died in 1992. I was a child when he died that is why she was named the PR. My sister and I are the only heirs to the estate. She lied to us and told us there was no money left and basically tried to scare us of from ever calling her again.
Anyways last year I found out she has been basically stealing the money from us all of these years.
This week I found out that while the estate was briefly closed for 2 years she received dividend payments from my dad's stock She received about 8 thousand dollars in dividend payments and the checks were made out to her name - not the estate of my father. She hid this money from the court, from us AND FROM the IRS. I was looking for hard evidence because I want to start a criminal case against her.We are also trying to remove her as PR and need a concrete reason. My gut tells me this is theft and fraud. Can anyone confirm this?
Is this the concrete evidence I need?
Thanks!

A friend of mine was arrested out of state last week for DUI. While she was being transported, the cop slammed backward into another police car. She said the two cops thought it was the funniest thing they ever saw. She's complained of headaches several times since, but didn't think of the connection. She's facing serious fines in the case and it doesn't seem right for the cop to not be held accountable for his moronic accident. Should she see someone about personal injury?

For years I know this full-time nurse (!) who calls herself a PI just by looking up search sites from her home computer on her time off from the hospital. Her clients are adopted people who pay her to search for their real parents. She DOES go on location & grill those in question at their home just like a police detective if they're in her home area.

She also "abuses" her power by looking up dirt on any one on the internet who disagrees with her. She does threaten them by showing them their social security numbers to them as proof of her expertise.

She has NO license to be a real PI, nor does she have any police connections in case of trouble. So I figure she cannot just walk into a station and ask to look up someone's police report there for instance.

I think she is running a very dangerous "second job," because if she provokes the wrong person, she could be targeted herself.

Is it THAT easy for you and I to call ourselves a PI?

Are we wise to go to Europe?

The European  Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was the other possibility.

As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5-year phase-in plan that would become known as "Euro-English."

In the first year,  "s" will replace the soft "c". Sertainly, this will make the sivil  servants jump with joy.

The hard "c" will be dropped in favour of "k". This should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter.

There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year  when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced with "f". This will make words  like fotograf 20% shorter.

In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of  the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated  changes are possible.

Governments will enkourage the removal of  double letters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling.

Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent "e" in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away.

By the 4th yer people  wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing "th" with "z" and "w"with "v".

During ze fifz yer, ze unesesary "o" kan be dropd from vords  kontaining "ou" and after ziz fifz yer, ve vil hav a reil sensi bl riten  styl.

Zer vil be no mor trubl or difikultis and evrivun vil find it ezi tu understand ech oza. Ze drem of a united urop vil finali kum tru.

Und efter  ze fifz yer, ve vil al be speking German like zey vunted in ze forst plas.
