Is there anyway I can find out who called Children & Youth on me? I have a feeling it was my bitter ex, but just to make sure it wasn't a nosey neighbor or something...My case was closed, and "unfounded". I heard there was an address in Harrisburg I could write to find out who the rat is, anybody know?

That stinks when you get reported by a bitter ex., (or whomever) esp. when you know that you have done nothing wrong.
Until this has happened to someone personally, they will never know the traumatic effect it has on a Mother or caretaker.

You can write and request a copy of the report and other related information.
However, the name of the person who made the report will be blacked out if the reporter asked to remain anonymous.

I would definitely request the information, at least, to have for your records.
The investigating Agency should have provided you with an address for Children and Youth in Harrisburg.

Nope. The information you're talking about is private. This is done to protect and promote people reporting genuine incidents. If it's unfounded AND had no reasonable basis for a person to file they can be charged, but that would be for filing a false report.

be pleased that the case was closed as unfounded. if this person persists in making false claims they will be the one in trouble with the law.

they are trying to cause you pain for some reason, every second you waste thinking about this, you are making their wish come true.

forget about this idiot and enjoy your children that you take good care to raise properly.

you are better off not knowing the persons name.. because that way you will be less of a suspect when someone else gets revenge on them.

No, you cannot find out. The police have to protect informants against retaliation by the accused. Is that what you intend? If so, forget about it. Two wrongs don't make a right.

The law protects the names of people who call. I know how you feel. I've been through the trauma of a CPS investigtion, too.
