This is more of an opinionated answer since no one here can be sure. But I'll ask anyway, I just want your ideas as to what I should do.
I'm a fourteen year old kid and I have been expelled twice so far, once for starting a fire (very stupid I know), then I went to a private school and got expelled right before the end of 8th grade for doing triple c's even though I wasn't high I had VERY high blood pressure from doing them the night before and was expelled because they wrote that I had posesion on my record (which I think is illeagle since that was a complete lie).
2 days ago (Thursday) someone had smoked pot in the bathroom and some people saw me and my friend walk out and I had just bought a bowl that day so it was in my backpack and i just sold my friend 1 gram so it looked horrible after it was reported. They searched my **** and found what we had.
I live in Tolland, Connecticut. I want to know if going through my PERSONAL BELONGINGS (Backpack) was legal.

Let's see, you are a drug dealer, you were caught. You are also a drug addict. Get help, get treatment, or you will have a very bleak life.
Drugs ruined my brother's life. Get help.
Oh, yeah, the search was legal based on the odor in the bathroom, and even I don't believe it wasn't you.

Hmm, I think it depends on who went through your bag.. If it was like the police then yeah they're probably allowed to but if it was your teachers then idk.. I'd say they would probably be allowed to if they suspected you had drugs on you..
Did you get expelled because of that? I'm just asking because my friend had a 30 of weed in his pocket at school a couple of days ago and he got out his wallet and it fell out and he didn't realize until his maths teacher walked past his desk and grabbed it from the floor.. We're in our last year of high school so if he gets done for dealing (there's enough of it) and gets expelled then he's screwed up his life a bit.. =/ Cheers anyhowww!

Get your act together. If you have all these problems now, it will only get worse if you dont get yourself together and stop doing what you are doing now!!!!!You are only 14 for crying out loud! Do you want to spend the rest of your life in and out of jail? You need to admit your mistakes, take the punishment and suffer the consequences. Then rethink your life and think hard about what you really want to do and where you want to be as an adult! You can put this past behind you and move on....

School officals have wide lattitude in searching you while on campus.
If this where a police officer they would have to have had probable cause or a warrant, but if it was school these rules do not apply.

I do not know about the legality of going through your back pack, I am more concerned with what is going through your mind.

yeah they can search you you should have been smarter if your going to take risks you have to be smart about it like hiding the weed in your under wears and don't carry weed pipes out of your house roll j's but it's too late now you're going to juvi boy you better get smart fast

legally, if they have enough proof that you MIGHT have done something or if they have REASON of suspicion, they can search you.
