Who else is excited about the new law? I am a non-smoker and I think its about time that we are protected. Even though places were previously divided into non-smoking and smoking, you were still breathing in the toxic chemicals. I am glad that smoking is not allowed in resturants now. I take pride in my health.

I don't understand how the price at the pump can change, sometimes more than once, and the truck that delivers the fuel has never been there? It's the same fuel!
I know that there has to be an explanation for this.
Please explain!
Thanks!

According to this article (http://www.toptechnews.com/story.xhtml?story_id=0110010E6SH4);

Jammie Thomas, a 30-year-old Minnesota mother accused of piracy by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), has to pay them $220,000 in damages.

I was wondering how just an independant person like that could pay that sort of. I mean RIAA was asking for up to 3.9 MILLION dollars. How does that work? If the damages were that amount... would this woman have to go to prison? Because I'm pretty sure you couldn't take out a loan for $3.9 million dollars and pay it off.

My child has been long emancipated. DES did nothing to collect CS. My ex-wife claims she never collected any welfare or filed any complaint. Several years ago DES lied and told a judge that she had collected welfare. I believe my exwife is telling the truth. The court ordered a wage assignment on my lowly SS Benefits. There is someting in the law about "reduced to written judgement". I believe that means that I still owe the amount but DES cannot apply a wage assignment or garnishment. My arguement includes that my son is just fine and never missed a meal. The child support was supposed to support a child "then" this is "now". My son does not need the money because he is emancipated. I do need the money. I am partially handicapped and it is very difficult for me to get around to work. What doe the expression mean and what can I do?

I have been married for over 4 years. We have never consummated the marriage. My wife tightens up so bad that penetration is impossible. She has promised to seek counseling and to seek medical help, but she never goes to more than 1 session. I feel that she has continued to keep me under false pretenses, believing that this situation would not be a permanent one. I no longer believe that we will ever make things work in the bedroom. Can we seek an annulment? We got married in TX, but currently live in CO, can we file for an annulment here, or do we have to do that in TX?

See, I'm doing this project for school, and it requires me to pick a state, develop a small business in it, and find various information about it. I'm decided to do Arkansas for no particular reason, no offense to people from Arkansas, and I need to find the laws related to making a small business. If any of you guys could give me a website, or just plain tell me, I'd appreciate it alot.

Hey y'all! Dean Madison, American, here from Texas. I just got home from my kickboxing class where we train using the homeless folks the teacher picks up from the city. Now you might think those rail-riding bums oughta be tough, but they sure can't take a kick in the sternum, I tell you what. Good times, though, them's is good times.

Thank goodness and President Bush that there Senator from Idaho, Larry Craig, decided not to resign. It was all a sting, hear? A libtard set-up to get a good man out of office. Does he look gay to you? Does he sound gay? Ever see him wear pink? I don't think so.

Hallejulah we live in good country where the libtards still can't beat us. I like a guy that sticks to his guns and doesn't back down. If only we can say the same for those other guys... Mark Foley? Libtard conspiracy. Vitter from Louisiana? Libtard conspiracy. Newt Gingrich? Libtard conspiracy. Need I say more? Libtard con-spi-ra-cy!

Dean Madison, American, Republican, and PROUD of it!

A white kid was being made fum of at school by a group of Black kids. They were calling him cracker and honkey. He had whitnesses. He gets fed up and calls the main kid a racist ni' ' er back.

He gets suspeneded from school and nothing is done to the black kids.

Both are wrong here so why would the white kid be the only one punished when he said something in the defensive?

Ok. Five years ago I was charged with theft under $50 which is a class c misd. I just finished college and am currently working on my internship at the IT department of the City. Just yesterday, a president of a bank approached me and asked if I was interested in an IT position at the bank. He is a good friend of the family and always considers me a nice kid, which I am, with the exception of that one incident 5 years ago. The application asks if I ever pleaded "no contest" to a charge which I did. I took deferred adjudication for the offense and after my community supervision period my case was dismissed. I am still going to answer yes because it's the truth. However, do you think this will bar me from getting a job there at the bank even though I am not working directly with money? Please tell me what you think.

I often hear people say that they should be told if there is a Paedophile living near them - WHY??? To protect your children? - HOW??? Think about it.

Using this logic, why dont we demand to be told when a convicted arsonist is near us - they could burn our house down, or a burgular - they could break in and rob us, a drug dealer - they could sell drugs to our kids - DO YOU SEE THE POINT.

Making paedophiles details public acheives NOTHING, encourages illegal vigilante groups and more importantly - drives them into hiding where thay can not be treated or monitored.

WHEN WILL PEOPLE USE THEIR BRAINS AND WAKE UP!!!

We all know that when sweet little kiddy winks are involved we all get mushy and emotional and loose all sense of reason - but cant you see this behaviour is making the situation worse!!

Come on - lets use our brains yeh.

Intelligent views it will be interesting to see how many vigilanties leave stupid comments!!!!

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/businesstechnology/2003926501_downloader05.html here is an article to read before you respond. So here we have an industry that is blatently fighting to keep its oligopoly intact and has been in trouble before for price fixing is suing a woman with little resources and 2 children for a ton of money and succeeding. The FCC is joke, the same few companies own the record companies, the television companies, the internet providers and the radio stations. So there it is- When is enough enough? How can we take back music? how can we split up these giant companies so that they dont have conflicts of interest in doing things like playing independent music or speaking negatively about their own companies or providing our internet data to people trying to prosecute us? just in general- do you think its broke- and how do we fix it?
