It would be impossible for a jury to honestly find no reasonable doubt. Without being able to see into the mind of both parties how could one possibly know if it was rape or rough sex? How could one know if the woman is being truthful or vindictive? Without some hard evidence to tip the scale one way or the other, in a legal sense, it cannot be determined that a crime was actually committed.

If the female says stop or no during the act the guy should stop immediately. No means no for a reason if the boy thought he was man enough to have sex he has to be man enough to take the consequences after.

I don't think so, besides wasn't she older than him? Now, what's age of consent in Maryland? Because if it is 18, she was the one committing a crime. The boy was 16.

WELL once a woman says NO..........doesn't matter if you already started you need to STOP...STOP...how old are you? Usually when this happens it means neither one of you talked about this??having SEX? because you would of know if she was ready or not ready...RIGHT??? so talk...talk...take it SLOW..don't rush anything..especially SEX...yes this could be rape all she has to do is go to the police...so that is why I say talk get to know each other...one you have SEX everything changes and you take A LOT of risks....

Penetration already occurred. Questions not answered in the report: How was he hurting her? Was there use of a condom, if not was it her fear? Was it because of his age? should he have stopped, yes, was it rape? no. She initially consented.

I think a person even during the act if it hurts, or is causing pain, the other person should stop. If asked to stop. If the other person ignores the request, there is a problem.

Here is a follow up question can the man sue the women if he stops for denial of service or frustration, you know pain and suffering?

That is the next logical legal step in this ever devolving world we live in.

oh please
please please please

That's similar to the Tyson case where Tyson had oral sex with the little skank for about 10 minutes while she engaged in the normal moans of pleasure. Then when he sought to engage in sex, she at first enjoyed it and then decided 'oh no' -- stop stop.
all of this 'protest' crap is just that. ALL young women - girls now - should be taught that once a boy or man STARTS that it is nearly impossible for him to stop.
WE
ARE
JUST
MADE
DIFFERENTLY
SILLY
GIRLS _ WOMEN
and you are not made of gold or silver...you are made to accommodate a man.
if you have reservations about having sex that should be the first sign not to start it in the first place.
.
I'm a young woman. I date a lot. I date more than one man. I don't have to have sex. I make the decision before we even think about kissing.
If you don't put yourself in that position, you have nothing to worry about.
I'm all for mothers and fathers PAYING a prostitute in the years when a boy is like a rabbit, rather than that boy getting into deep trouble with some girl who doesn't know what the hll she wants, and in reality can't really make that type of decision with any sense in the first place.

and all of these holier than thow "Oh I'm so pure-I-had-ten-men-once" women need to just STOP with this "STOP" crap.
It's called"teasing"
and you have the same thing every other woman has. Just wrapped differently.
