I have just been let off from charges that were untrue but not before going through a month of hell, stress, worry ect ect thinking what if police believe her! Turns out she's done all this before with other people so it got thrown out and they let me go from my bail charges. But all that I've been through I think is sickening that they can just say thats that off you go then! I want more done as she could had destroyed my whole life. Any suggestions, but be real with them.

You can sue her. Whether you will win or not depends on your case and circumstances.

You have no action against the police unless they were acting in a negligent or malicious matter. Otherwise they were just doing their job.

You can sue her. Sue her in Civil Court for the bail charges, and for pain and suffering.

I don't think you have a case against the police unless you can prove negligence of some sort.

If you have been falsely accused, you can sue for damages. There are also some jurisdictions that prosecute false reporting as a crime. Suing is costly, but so is defending yourself by hiring a lawyer. Whatever you do do, it should be within the law. It serves no purpose to gain revenge at the expense of actually commiting a crime, even a minor one.
