Okay so my bf is 20 and lives with his father and stepmother. his stepmother opens/reads his bank statements and, well, pretty much all his mail. Can he press charges or is this out of criminal jurisdiction simply because he shares an address with them? I know it's obvious he doesn't particularly like his parents, but legally, COULD HE DO IT?

Question Details: my boss is a lawyer but only paid employees by cash. He also only accept cash from all clients. I don't think he is filing for tax because he refused to put employees in payroll and when they ask him for insurance, he told them to file for unemployment and get government benefits.

what will you do in this situation? will you report them? I am not being a hater here but deceiving the society is just not right.

My mother is an RN who was involved in a car accident several years ago and as a result suffered from injusry to her discs. She had surgery to alleviate pain, but of course still will never be 100% the same. She is not opposed to working her scheduled 8 hrs, or even a few extra if needed, but her employer is saying that she must do 16 hrs if necessary, even though her doctor has specified that she cannot do excessive bending, standing , or lifting. Is this wrong or are they allowed to do this?

My husband and I are in a situation where I honestly can't afford to work due to price of gas and a babysitter. The thing is, I ow the military a LOT of money from when I was enlisted. They overpayed me once I got out, but I thought it was back pay from when they screwed up my checks and didn't pay me for a few months. I don't have the money to pay them (I used to give them my taxes) right now! What do I do?!

Al Sharpton can run down to Jena, Louisiana to defend black students who admittedly beat a white student unprovoked yet he is not man enough to apoligize to the Duke university lacrosse players for slandering them in the media. I hope they will sue his butt.

I went to the emergency room back in February. Shortly thereafter I received the bill which I submitted to my insurance company and it was all taken care of. However, in September I received a separate bill from the emergency room doctor for the same visit. When I submitted this to my insurance company they denied it because they said the timeframe for claim submission had expired. Now I feel I'm stuck.

I would like to know what the government's basis is for taking it upon themselves to decide who can marry who. While I, myself, am not gay, I don't feel that it's any of my business, nor is it anybody else's, if two men or two women want to formalize their relationship with a marital union. Can anybody explain to me why the government has the right to ban same-sex marriage?
