At least four local real estate agents have not returned my call for help with a contract to rent my home, or "are too busy." Fine I'll remember that when I need an attorney for closing and title insurance after I sell. In the meantime, can I write my own rental agreement? I know there are forms; I am concerned about the wording for things outside the standard lease...

Attachment? Exhibit? Thanks in advance for any assistance...

Hi everyone thanks for helping me out. Well i attempted to enter the casino with an false id.
I was arrested and charged with criminal trespass. I went to court once and the judge asked me if i would like a lawyer , i was afraid of jailtime so i said yes. Now what if i show up without a lawyer? Is there any chances of jailtime?Because i called a lawyer and he said he dont know if there's going to be jailtime or not. How much would lawyer charge for such cases.

Here are some informations
-Court Location= Hammond City Court
-Judge= Jeffrey A. Harkin
-My bond= $1000
-My age= 18
-I am a first time offender , arrested for the 1st time

Thanks for reading,

I only ask because the cash intake for my up-coming re-election bid has been rather lacking.

So, as a Water Board seat holder I feel they should contribute to the benififs others will recieve from my sterling leadership.

While it is true they will not recieve any direct benefit due to the fact that I would never live in the area they live in, I would think that they would feel proud to have me serve in the wealthy area in which I reside.

So...last Saturday, I got food poisoning, I was hugging the toilet all night...and I had to go to work at 9:30 a.m. Obvoiusly I called work at about 8a.m and told them I was sick. They made me come in anyways. I work at a very popular restaurant in Hollywood, worked for about 5 hours, had costumers complain because they could tell I was sick...a total show.
My manager got mad at me after I told him that I was leaving. I threw up at work 4 times and I was DONE!
Is it actually legal to make someone come in even though they called sick? I tried to look info online but can't find anything.
I would love to get answers quick since my boss wants to have a talk with me today...about sunday...anyways, thank you so much!!

Hello, so I was in a journalism class and we had to come up with an original product to market. We decided on a cell phone that would have a feature never before thought of in relation to cell phones. We were so inspired by it that we then thought the cell phone companies might come up with some type of variance of this feature. The Question: How does one go about copyrighting a cell phone feature? If one can that is. I went onto copyright.gov and found nothing in relation to improvements on product, only literary and visual works. I am uncertain because it is simply an improvement on a product already being used. Any answers that can help point me in the right direction are appreciated. Thanks!

I have tried for a year to gain satisfaction from a large corporation.

In small claims court the judge ruled that the company I filed suit against had to provide the service I requested.

BUT......It took me a year of phone calls, certified letters, time, trouble, plus a day off work and the filing fee for court.

Why should I be out even one penny and the corporation jerked me around for a year didn't even have to pay for my filing fee?

How does the public hold them accountable? How is it that they can jerk paying customers around for a year? What should a citizen do to hold them accountable?

It makes me ill to think that companies can take your money and then treat paying customers poorly and get away with it.

Suggestions?

THIS IS HYPOTHETICAL:

Even though the society around you likes to condemn this particular type of people and the fact that you are helping one of these people will make you look bad, and could possibly get accused of being a traitor and torn to bits by the media?

I think most people will say "yes" even though they would act diffrenty...

Tell me if this sounds fishy to you, i gave my two weeks and my last day was to be the 11th of october. Yesturday we had a big mandatory meeting with the HR lawyer, the usual stuff, harassment and so forth but they wouldnt let me in. They said it was cuz i was leaving in a week, then he did one on one meetings and they wouldnt tell him i wanted to talk to him. So finally he agrees to talk to me and i had questions about getting compensated for work i did 6 months prior, but never heard back from my managers about. So he says that he will pay me up to the 11th but i cant work there, i have to stay home. I said what if i dont want to do that, and he says i have no choice. Is this true? Did i not have a choice but to leave? Ive never met this HR guy before and i believe the reason they told me to leave was because they are not running the place legally and they think i know too much. dont know what else it could be since ive never even been close to being written up never been in trouble?
