If it were not so tragic, with him being a closeted gay man and all, it would be horribly funny.

Here is a man who has used his 'family values' a shield support refusing benefits to people who are gay and gets caught soliciting gay sex. Funny, ironic, hypocritic.

Sounds like one of the many excuses officers hear when stopping violators. Senator Craig seems to dig his hole deeper and deeper.

I really wish they would have accepted it so the original charge would have been put back in place. I have nothing against being gay, but phonies grate me.

i don't see why he bothered embarassing himself further and didn't just resign, he wasn't going to run again anyway, it would have given his replacement more senoirty and made him seem like he had the dignity and decency to go out gracefully
