I only ask because the cash intake for my up-coming re-election bid has been rather lacking.

So, as a Water Board seat holder I feel they should contribute to the benififs others will recieve from my sterling leadership.

While it is true they will not recieve any direct benefit due to the fact that I would never live in the area they live in, I would think that they would feel proud to have me serve in the wealthy area in which I reside.

That's a good crack-up. I think the answer is "no" however, unless you work for the I.R.S. Then you can take whatever you want out of peoples' pay checks and they get no say in it.
