Would she be treated any differently just because it was her prison?

There are conventional presumptions for judges to interpret the law. One of them is that, unless specified otherwise, the monarch is exempt from the law.

On the other hand, if she did, and the judiciary tried to keep her from going to trial, well we would surely have a revolution and get rid of her.

I think you have been reading the tabloids a little too much. No matter how large the type in the British scandal sheet headlines that is not the same as truth.

You have to wait until you hear it on TV before it is considered confirmed.

You have to keep in mind that no one ends up in prison before they are convicted, which also comes after them being charged with a crime, which also follows proof that a crime was committed. So there is a real problem of not following a logical sequence.

the queen is in always above the law. she is the only person in the UK who does not have or need a passport. As our sovereign she is not accountable. nor should she be.

the truth of the matter is no matter what she does it would be covered up and made gone. this how ever does not go for her husband or off-spring , they are all accountable

sorry to all you anti monarchy buffs our queen can not be touched. and yes i think she's a great lady. she works hard for the nation and i think we would be very poor with out her

No she would be gang raped the 1st night she got there just like any other cell mate!
As soon as she commited a crime against the crown..she would lose all her rights as queen and the power of Greyskull would pass to her dipwit son Charlie,so she would then be kept at HIS majestys pleasure!
bit weird tho...a son pleasuring his own mother...yuck!

You are so funny, i think if she was really caught and it hit the news there would be a way that it would be called self defense she would not be tried for murder not to mention just like OJ she would not do it her self she would have it done, and then that person would disappear or be convicted of murder them selves.

No. The Monarch is above all that. He/She cannot commit a crime in the eyes of the law therefore cannot be tried for committing one.

I think so... But I bet while she served her probably 5 year (long live the queen, right? lol) sentence, she would be treated more like well... royalty!

Yes, she would be convicted and imprisoned.

Only the truth: That's a funny username for someone who is gullible enough to believe in a complete conspiracy theory.

She'd probably be under house arrest until her trial, and then be evaluated for mental problems, but nothing more.
