You get a Provisional License at age 16, which means you can drive as long as there is someone in the vehicle who is over 21.
If you get caught, then you can lose your license until you are 18.
As long as you follow the rules and do eveything right, you can drive other people. One of those people has to be 21, and also a licensed driver.

Depending on the state, you are right. Some states issue a "probationary license" from the ages of 16-18. Ohio is one state. If you don't follow the rules, and are pulled over you will pay the consequence and not be permitted to drive till your 18. Follow the rules.

OK so like what state are you living in?
I'm confused because there are so many different states with so many different driver license laws....rrrright?
So .. yeah .. most states permit a person to obtain a license at 16!
No...you're not able to drive like minors...but you can drive like adults!
I mean...if the law says like you have to be like older than 16 to drive with other passengers...then like you need to obey the law!

Driving is a privilege ! Obey the rules and you will always be Ok - At 16, you can only drive when with an adult with a drivers Lic - At 17, yourself, NO passengers - Once you have reached "that" age, just obey the rules -

It depends on what state you're in. We don't have psychic powers here.
In many states you can get your license at 16 and you can't drive minors for the first 6 months.

In most states there are NO restrictions on your driving if you have a license, regardless of your age. Look in your driver's manual for the answers to this question. You can get one for FREE from your nearest Department of Motor Vehicles OR Department of Transportation office.

IF you live in UTAH, there are several restrictions...such as you are not allowed to drive with other teenagers in your car and you do have a curfew. You also must wait six months after getting your learners permit to get your actual drivers license. Yeah, Utah sucks for teens now.
