my name is on the title of a property along with three other family members, i have gone to notary to sign a quitclaim/grant deed, i also have to fill out a preliminary change of ownership report but my family doesn't want to sign it. What can I do to get my name off the title if they dont want to sign the preliminary change of ownership report?

You don't have to complete a preliminary change of ownership report if you pay an extra fee ( $20+) for failing to provide that with the document you plan to record with the Clerk-Recorder's Office.

So, just present the deed to the recorder's office in the county where the property is located (make sure it is correct and you have the proper legal description) and then pay whatever amount the staff tells you to pay (usually $5-10 for the first page, and a few dollars for each additional page).
