lol what a question... to answer it i'd have to say i think that Yes, there is evil in this world, a little bit in everyone. However, it is unfair to judge lawyers as a whole, there are many different types, as well as abilities... Some frankly, just are bad attorneys, and some, like my parents for intstance, are well to be blunt, GOOD. As far as the good people comment that is judged by the person themselves, furthermore, i'd hope all lawyers are good people, seeing as they provide a service to you, and that they would not have picked a profession that caters to the needs of people in trouble if they did not care or have good intentions. Some are, some aren't. There is so much diversity in the type of law people practice, why they practice, their backgrounds, etc. that you can't even judge lawyers as a whole. And beyond that, just like anything else there will be some bad apples and some good ones.
Overall, I think they are as good as anyone else.

The good, bad and the ugly can be found anywhere, in any part of the world, and in any profession, occupation, etc.
On that note, I know a lot of fantastic lawyers who are great people!

Hey, there are plenty of good, honest lawyers. I know some. I have had some do work for me. Some do work for the poor & do their best. When or if you ever need one, your going to think they are some of the finest people you ever met, especially if they help you in a pinch!

Like many professions - some are good and some are not.
Can't judge them by the profession they hold.
I'm an insurance adjuster - some are good and some are not.
I think that theory applies to every profession.

I think lawyers are so respectable, that last winter, I let one put his hands in MY pockets just so he could keep his hands warm...and the lawyer was GAY!
